Gorgeous wooden boat combines green technology with 1940s-inspired styling
‘Un bateau électrique, au look classique‘Those words certainly ring true with French designer and engineer Dimitri Bez’s latest project; a stunning wooden leisure boat inspired by the 1947 “Sea Maid” ski-boat (which you can see at Classic Boat here).
It runs off an electric engine, meaning it can keep up with its rapid petrol-based counterparts and run quicker than super-green sail boats. In addition to speed, it also allows the minimalist machine to run almost silently.
It has been built with an uncompromising dedication to comfort, luxury and quality; with leather seats, a retro pair of front and rear cabins for driver and passengers, along with a sumptuous dark wood finish. An oLED touch screen allows for simple navigation and stands as the only visibly modern element in this otherwise classic boat. Perfect if you have the cash!

Sharing some behind the scenes of one of our current sustainable design series called “Once Upon a Time” which will soon be available at an outlet on Milos.
Using eco-friendly cork as an alternative to animal leather, these cruelty-free, vegan bags are lined with non-bleached cotton which is hand screen-printed with water based Eco-inks, all completely designed and handcrafted here on Milos in our little design studio.
Each clutch bag is unique, telling its own story, and can be personalized, with initials or name, embossed onto a cloud and sewn onto the front of the bag.
