okay so i use to like play bass maybe not consistently everyday but a whole lot and i never remember getting callouses (or my fingers hurting that much) but now as im trying to learn the bass for headfirst for halos im getting callouses and my fingers hurt,, like im aware that its normal (and pretty much standard) with bass and guitar to get callouses and for your fingers to hurt, but why is it happening now if it didnt happen before (obviously not consistently playing for a while contributes to why my fingers hurt but still)
