The promised neverland after the reward
I got an epiphany just now and I think that at the end of the volume will see the reward being done and it’s going to be a turning point for the next volumes and now everybody else helping Emma like she’s been doing it for them all this time!, until they find a solution to it!
Emma being cute in many ways, she’s just made me forget about my problems after seeing her cute expressions!.

My fav scene of the manga is in ch.93, when Norman picks Emma up from her soul’s depths and push her up to fight. I will always be stunned by how powerful her standing up was and how sweet and deep the meaning of him reaching her in her lowest, in her most hidden side of the heart was.
So my first piece is inspired mostly on that.
While the second focuses more on Emma letting go of a part of herself, saying bye to the child and facing the harsh war ahead of her, without letting go of her values of course.
I went all out with symbolism XD

This comic wasn’t written just to produce something interesting and deep about my favourite manga and characters. With this comic, i wanted to give a message of hope, albeit still with feets on the ground.
People always suffered, but since 2 years things worsened.
It’s disheartening seeing how many people all around the world are in pain for different reasons; covid, wars, poverty or struggled with sickness, anxiety and anything life can throw at us.
Sometimes it feels like nothing is worth the pain, like if life itself is slipping from our fingers, whether it’s because it’s happening literally or because reality seems distorted and… unreal.
But as I learnt at 13, same age as Norman but with different experiences, and as I try still to remember myself, there are precious things in life that are worth fighting for.
Surely some things are out of our control, but some are within our reach.
Some things don’t depend on us, some others do. Some things can’t be fixed at all, but some others instead are fixable. Some pains won’t go away but they can become bearable, and some even will go away.
Some things give you pain but some others will make you feel like your life was worth it.
My prayer is for you all to find these things, find a reason to fight or to feel like your life was worth, find happiness and possibly health too.
Big or small problems, I sincerely wish for you all to not give up, to work together, to look up at the future and believe in improvement.
Maybe it’s not possible to reach it for every aspect of your life, sometimes you’ll need to keep in mind reality and balance out negative and positive feelings.
But don’t give up, don’t stop trying, because things can get better.
