DC Comics-Themed Wedding Bands
DC Comics has teamed up with Manly Bands on a new collection of wedding bands inspired by the franchise’s most iconic characters.
The Superman: You’ll feel as powerful as the Man of Steel with this Cobalt Chrome ring, which features a blue cerakote inlay and red cerakote sleeve in honor of Superman. The 8mm band even includes the iconic Superman emblem, the Kryptonian symbol of “hope.”
The Wonder Woman: Only 4mm wide, the Wonder Woman band makes for a delicate counterpart to the Superman band. Made of cobalt chrome with a distressed finish, the ring features two thin blue inlays and a 1mm 14K yellow gold trim in homage to the god-like superhero’s Lasso of Truth.
These two obviously being the perfect match! HELLO!!!!

A blog with tastes that occasionally align with my own, etsyfindoftheday, posted this lovely pairing from etsy (obviously) during her “wedding week” which culminates today. To steal her words….“simple. perfect.”
To some it may seem too understated, but to me, this is the ideal AND practical! Working in the medical setting I see most married doctors forgo wearing any rings because they constantly take tight gloves on & off. Rings with any significant height pose hassle & the risk of tearing, so I’m always wondering why I don’t see rings like this! I find its important in a workplace with so much social interaction (co-workers & patients alike) to have your married status be clear. That sounds old fashioned, but I catch people looking for my un-ringed left hand often & know that if a ring does come to rest there, I’d want those glancing guys to know :) To me, this is both the perfect solution, & regardless of practicality, completely my style.

A Ring on It.
A very quick and rough comic based on something that happened a few days ago. Not an MS Paint drawing for once! I actually doodled this on my phone and added text via Pixlr.
I am very, very happily engaged (no number of words can express how much I love my fiancé!), and I love the ring that my fiancé got me. However, I somehow forget that I’m wearing a ring whenever I try to slip on a glove. I realize that this might seem like a subtle brag, but in reality it is a testament to my obliviousness.
Also, I don’t have dreads! My hair has just been twisted and styled.
Also, I wanted to thank everyone for liking and sharing my bust commission sheet. I truly appreciate all of you so much. Commissions are still open, but I just wanted to express my gratitude in the meanwhile.
