wildfaewhump:

let your whumpee escape. let them get away from their captor, their interrogator, the group beating them, or the building that has collapsed on them. let them free themself under their own power, without any aid.

let them get away, but don’t let them find support.

make them try to find shelter as they cradle a broken bone, or press a hand to a wound to slow the bleeding until they have enough time to try to patch it up. make them search for a motel that’s cheap enough, or a deserted building or alley.

make them cobble together bandages out of pillowcases stripped off of the first bed they’ve seen in weeks. make them try to wrap clumsily torn strips around an injury they can’t quite reach well enough to treat on their own. let them collapse as they try to get back to the bed, and make them pick themself back up because no one is there to help them.

let them sleep, but make them wake up alone.

jordanstrophe:

Whumpee finally manages an escape; but not before enduring whumper’s torture. They’re limping, bleeding and wincing with every step. They feel like their arm wrapped around their side is the only thing holding their body together, as they aimlessly stagger as far away as their energy will allow.

I’m 19 & I plan on running away from my abusive home soon. I have a good plan, but the only issue is that my guardians keep all my documents hidden (ID, social security, insurance card, etc). I don’t know what to do without them & I can’t find them bc my aunt is a hoarder and her room is so bad you can’t even see the floor or open the door with all the clothes, papers & boxes. They also stole my stimulus money. Idk if after I leave she’ll send them willingly or not. Idk what to do. Any advice?

This is tricky. Googling for ‘Getting an ID When You Have Lost all Forms of ID’ brought up some results, as well as ‘lost ID in fire’. I think it partly depends on where you exactly live, though, so you’d have to add your state/country in the search.

Good luck and take care :)

Ok ok hold up, I’ve been through this.

First is your birth certificate. If the other parent has an official copy, get it. If not, request one from the county you were born in. You’ll need notarized forms for this, but I’m sure there are ways to get things notarized without ID.

Social security card is as easy as going to the social security office with your birth certificate and requesting one.

State ID requires going to the DMV with a birth certificate and social security card. Some states let you replace it online.

Finally is a passport (if you want one). Just fill out the forms, get your photo taken, and wait a few weeks.

I have actually been through this too, though not because I was running away. Your best bet is to order your birth certificate online, though unfortunately you will need money for that. Here’s the link, it works regardless of state:

As for social security card, normally I would say go in person and get it. It’s free. I have no idea if you have transportation or if your Social Security office is even open. If it is, keep in mind they have to mail it. Same with the above. It can take 2 weeks or longer normally, that may be longer right now with the rona.

If you can’t go in person, do you happen to be disabled? If you have a proof letter with your Social security number on it, that’s state issued and most states will accept it as proof of SSN.

Otherwise idk. But I hope that helps.
