The best advice to give here is to just do life drawing. I know that that is the most annoying advice in the world but nothing can replace it, I cannot tell you the amount of times I have been at a life drawing class, noticed something and then used that in a drawing later on. 

But rule of thumb, features sort of seem to gather at the bottom of the face if the character looks down, and the jaw is more pointed. The features gather more at the top if the character is facing upwards and the jaw becomes more square ( also there isn’t a line defining it as much anymore)
