#famicom detective club

LIVE

So random thing: I recently (like… two minutes ago) beat Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind. I named my protagonist Ken Amada since he and the protag share a Japanese VA. So now I kinda have an au where at some point post-canon Ken lost contact with SEES and ended up running off from his foster family to find SEES and accidentally ended up adopted by a private detective.

bowloflentils:

Tomorrow a remake of Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind is releasing on the Switch which will actually be the third version of the game to be published by Nintendo. It was first released on the Famicom Disk System in 1989, then through the Super Famicom’s Nintendo Power service in 1998 and finally the version releasing on the Switch. Fun to see how the franchise’s art style has evolved over the years.
