i love femmes, i love when they have bold grins and long nails, i love when they’re unapologetically themselves, both kind and assertive, sticking up for themselves, i love when they turn things on their head, taking aspects of femininity they like and saying this is for themselves, this is for other women- and discarding elements of femininity that they have no desire for, i like lipstick marks on button ups, i like femmes who go by unconventional pronouns or gendered language, i like the way femmes see the beauty and charm in people and in things seen as disposable. thank you for being you, thank you for making the world a more vibrant, wonderful place.
