#festa della liberazione
Hello everyone! Today is the 25th of april.
In Italy this is a very special day, taking the name “Festa della Liberazione”.
Today marks the day when the nazi-fascists were driven out of my country and defeated.
I want to take this moment to remember all the people, men and women, that took up arms in the Resistance and gave everything they had in the fight for freedom from the oppressors.
My thanks goes to them, for allowing everyone who came after them to live in a free, democratic country, but it also goes to the people that to this day still fight in the name of freedom and a better future for the next generations.
The fight for freedom lives on, let us never allow evils like those we saw in the last century show their face again.

La Resistenza passa anche attraverso piccoli gesti, non si dimentica delle persone. Ad esempio la Sindaca del mio comune ha fatto in modo che la manifestazione commemorativa passasse e si fermasse davanti alla R.S.A. per coinvolgere le persone fragili ospitate al suo interno.
Ci hanno salutati e ringraziati dalle finestre, hanno cantato, hanno tenuto il tempo: la memoria é cura.
Resistenza, Lotta e Libertà, per sempre.
