I can’t help but wonder how Shez would react to finding out that their arch-nemesis, the legendary Ashen Demon Byleth, is happily married to one of their friends in another timeline.

Dimitri: …That’s the Ashen Demon who bested you?

Shez: Yeah. But that won’t happen a second time. Now that I have you by my side, I swear–

Dimitri:She’s….beautiful.

Shez:What.

Dimitri: I feel as though I know her….as though we met a long time ago….and we were….deeply in lo–

Shez: DIMITRI NO, YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO HELP ME FIGHT HER!

For Bernadetta von Varley fans, something interesting happens in the Scarlet Blaze route of the demo of Three Hopes.

It’s been discussed on Reddit already, but I’ll make a post to let Tumblr fans know that a certain character faces an “ironic punishment”:

Edelgard makes Count Varley the head of the Southern Church, which at first looks like a promotion instead of a punishment. But it turns out that position is frequently targeted by assassins from the Central Church.

So Bernadetta’s father’s “ironic punishment” is this: he technically gets the power increase he wants, but he won’t be alive long enough to enjoy it.

And until that day arrives, he’ll be constantly fearing for his life, just like how he terrified his daughter.
