You will be able to edit your signup details until signups close.
You will be matched based on Characters, Additional Tags, Categories, Ratings, and Warnings. You are only guaranteed something that matches one of each of these (one requested character + one requested relationship category + etc).

Topic: Anything goes. Your requests and works do not have to be holiday related. Do remember that you’re making a gift for someone else, though, and keep their preferences in mind.
Length: Unlike the regular ficathons, the minimum length for fic in this exchange is only 500 words. Anything over that is great, of course! Other creative fanworks are welcome as well - art, vids, fanmixes/playlists, gifsets, etc. For these, use your own judgment for size. All works need to be complete.
How Posting Works: Works posted to the AO3 collection will be revealed on January 7th, 2017, and a Tumblr post featuring links to each work will be made afterward. Between then and January 14th, the creators of each work will remain anonymous. Until “the big reveal,” you’ll need to keep quiet about what you’re working on - no sneak peeks, please!
What is a pinch-hitter? A pinch-hitter is someone who takes the place of a creator who drops out of the exchange.
How to sign up as a pinch-hitter: For this exchange, Pinch Hits will be posted on the @foreverficathon blog. To grab a pinch hit, contact us by email ([email protected]), and include your AO3 name in the email. Pinch hits will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

The birth of paramedics in America is an important event in medical history. It showed that we should be doing more to save lives, rather than rescuing people who wouldn’t survive. As Henry gets the opportunity to see these men work up close in Los Angeles County during their introduction in 1972, he’ll learn a very important lesson from the experience.
