Finished Prop - Inheritance Law Book - Lemony Snicket’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events - 2004
So I’ve finally finished a Prop I’ve been wanting to recreate for a while. I’ve been looking for ages for a similar Book. I thrifted the Book for £1 at a Market last week, then I created the Book Front Decal Book front in Photoshop! The Schedule is made from an envelope and tea stained. The writing was the trickiest. I then went over the Book Front Decal in paint so it wasn’t as flat looking.

Violet Baudelaire (2004 Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) Makeup Test 1
I did a Violet Makeup test a while back. It helps having similar features to Emily, but I feel like not doing much for the makeup just makes me feel like it’s not really Cosplay Makeup. It’s not like Gaming Makeup which completely changes how I look.

Cosplaying Violet Baudelaire (2004 Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events)
Cosplay for me usually involves Cosplaying Characters that don’t look like me at all. I usually tend to do Transformation based Makeup and can spend Hours doing so.
Ever since I was a Kid I fell in love with Violet’s Character. There was something badass about her Character that I adored. Also adored her Costume and have wanted to own it for so long.
Another reason for Cosplaying her and why I’m glad is:
1) We are similar enough in appearance that I don’t have to do much Makeup.
2) Same Height and Hair.
3) Plus I need to own her badass Gown.
I’ve spent over 5.5 Months on her, but can’t wait to go back to her shortly.

Alternative Black Organza Puffy Ribbon Sleeves - Comparison (I will take some proper Archive Photographs, but for now I’m settling for WIP Photographs.) Here are some WIP Photographs of the Alternative Black Organza Puffy Ribbon Sleeves I made for Violet.
For Books 4-13 and any Video Game, Book, Deleted or Alternative Scenes I wanted to Photograph etc, I wanted a set of Alternative Sleeves. So people would notice that I’m not Cosplaying the main Canon Film Violet Version, but instead Alternative Scenes and moments.
Violet has a Black set of Organza Sleeves for certain shots in the Reptile Room section of the Film, but also in some odd Publicity Material. Also in the Video Game. It is a very blink and you’ll miss it moment.
