Happy 30th North American anniversary Final Fantasy IV! I drew one of my favorite characters since childhood, Rydia, to celebrate Are you as excited as I am for the FFIV stuff coming out in Endwalker?
I finally have some time to do some art just for fun, so here’s Garnet Til Alexandros aka Dagger. Been replaying FF9 this year and that game is still just so damn good.

Which is awesome. This gives me an excuse to squee about one of my nerd-passions, and have a legitimate reason to do it. Not only is this one of the games that got me into RPGs to begin with, but it remains my favorite Final Fantasy, and in fact one of my all time favorite games. Period.
Epic.

Best FF summoner
I hate how very little people understand how wonderful of a summoner Rydia from FFIV is. “Yuna this, Garnet that.” How about the fact Rydia LIVED with her summons and bonded with them, understood them, and by all means wished to protect them and the surface world. That woman made tremendous progress as a character WITHOUT a man to get her there. (However Edge tried!) Rydia is far most the best summoner, she did it on her own and used her skills to help others as a true heroine.
