私はRoninWorks代表の岡倉と言うものです。
この度、メールしましたのは、貴社でリリースされたゲームソフト「ファイヤーエムブレムif」のアメリカ／ヨーロッパ版である「Fire Emblem Fates」のローカライズにおいて、翻訳を担当したTreeHouseの数多くの誤訳や改変が、欧米のゲーマーたちから指摘されている現状についてお伝えしたかったからです。

このように、ゲーム内の会話が改変されていたり、一部の機能が削除されているといったような箇所が発見されています。
他にも、欧米のゲーマーたちはTwitter上のハッシュタグ #TorrentialDownpour 上で様々なローカライズの問題を訴えています。ゲーマーたちはゲームの忠実な翻訳を望んでおり、ローカライズの際に別の意図が入り込むことを懸念しています。
しかしながら、アメリカやヨーロッパの任天堂は、これらの問題や質問に回答していません。つきましては、回答を日本の任天堂本社様に求めるほかなく、こうして意見書を提出させていただいた次第です。
日本の任天堂様としましては、彼らの窮状やこの問題に対して、何らかの公式見解なりアナウンスなりを発表する予定はございますでしょうか？
欧米の実情を知る身としては、貴社のゲームを愛する欧米ゲーマーの質問や要請に是非ご回答いただけるよう、お願い申し上げる次第です。
もしこの問題に関して、より詳しい事情の説明が必要であれば、当方にお伝えください。
