As a person who didn’t saw any trailer of the game beforehand and was in love with this soft-and-pure boy named Dimitri - This scene was CRAZY.

whenever i see these two dialogues, i honestly just end up laughing at how oblivious i was on my first crimson flower run.
i started three houses knowing absolutely NOTHING. i only knew about the lords and the students in each house that’s it, heck i didn’t even know that there would be a war.
i heard edelgard say pity, and i also heard her say pity as the flame emperor but i was still shocked when she revealed herself to be the flame emperor??
the amount of clues left and right that are shown.. my obliviousness before truly is just laughable
