The House of the Spirits (1993) part 2 of 2
In this historical drama, peasant worker Pedro (Antonio Banderas) tries to get his fellow workers to rebel against the landowner Esteban (Jeremy Irons).
When Esteban catches Pedro, he orders him to remove his shirt. Pedro obeys, then bends forward and the foreman (who is Pedro’s father) takes hold of his wrists. Esteban lashes Pedro with what looks like a riding crop. We only see Pedro’s reactions but he’s a fine specimen and he’s clearly feeling it.

Cliffs of Freedom(2019)
Demetri (Jamie Ward) feels the sting of the lash in this historical drama. Shame the cross he’s tied to obscures much of the view but a nice shot of his broad, welted back and it’s always good to see a fellow dragged away after his flogging.

In the meantime, he sees the results of the lash on the back of one of his fellow prisoners. He’s taken to the yard where he takes off his shirt and is chained to the whipping post, where a very handsome and masculine flogger is ready to go to work with a cruel-looking bullwhip.
His friends arrive with the pardon, but not before our hero receives one stroke of the lash as the clock strikes noon. The pardon presented, the flogging stops and he’s set free but he’s clearly shaken by his ordeal.
