WOOOO!!! I just found a missing rock (in 6 main pieces) that was feared lost forever after I moved, and couldn’t find it after I set up the collection in the new house. @pnw_rocktography and @unearthed.minerals have the other two pieces, as I was with them when I found it. It’s one of my favorite finds, even though it’s still dirty and I’m not entirely sure what its composition is. Found in a very unique area, with gorgeous jaspers, agates, quartz, calcite, cinnabar and many other crazy things all around. I’ve found a ton of related material, though this is the best. One of my favorite areas, and it’ll be off limits for years due to wildfires in 2020. So glad I found this in the bottom of a random bucket I threw a bunch of stuff in when I moved. LABEL YOUR BUCKETS AND DRAWERS, FOLKS!
