Lolita (Tokitae) is running out of time as her health deteriorates due to currently battling pneumonia. She has spent 50+ years in a small concrete tank. So, how can we help? Origami Whales Project (founded by Peggy Oki) has provided ways we can TAKE ACTION (letters, petition, etc). Please read Lolita’s story and the plans that have been thoroughly researched to help her live in the Salish Sea once again. I’m titling this painting “Reunion” in hopes of helping manifest that reality. Thank you for spreading the word and doing what you can.
