First of all I want to say that I used to be a fan of Yamcha… yeah, USED! because the current version is just a joke, a character used only for humorous purposes and in a bad way if we consider that is at his expense, I used to be fan of the Old Yamcha, back when Dragon Ball was a little more about adventures than about defeating the powerful villain of the week, at that time we met Yamcha… a badass bandit and the first “Z-fighter” to fight Goku, a character with cool design, a sword, with a cat companion before cats were popular, with interesting motivations and traits (gynophobia) and with the most epic melee technique in the history of Dragon Ball… Rōgafūfūken(Wolf Fang Fist)

Then he met Bulma, overcame his fear and abandoned his old life (and weapons) to become… Bulma’s boyfriend, from that moment that was his unique contribution to the history of Dragon Ball, his role! of course he kept training but in his own way, not going to train with Master Roshi the first time he met him was a big mistake because the difference of powers between him and Goku increased a lot, Krillin became the new “rival of power” in Goku’s life, during the tournament Yamcha had the bad luck to face Jackie Chun/Roshi in his first fight, something that would be repeated in following tournament so we could say that he was cannon fodder to face the most powerful (Jackie Chun/Roshi, Tenshinhan) or mysterious character (Shen/Kami) of the moment… everything changed in the fight against the Invisible Man (maybe the greatest fight triumph in the life of Yamcha) and Bandages the Mummy, this last fight was very good, seriously, Yamcha demonstrated all his skill like fighter and his ingenuity, but it wasn’t enough… it was time to train with Roshi!

Oh yeah, it’s time for the next tournament… Yamcha advanced a lot, I dare to say that he was even stronger than Krillin but that is my personal opinion, his fight was very good overall, but unfortunately it was against Tenshinhan, the “villain” of the tournament aka the strongest after Goku, the outcome of the fight was humiliating for him, but had an achievement in the middle… Yamcha became the 4th character to learn and use the Kamehameha(Roshi, Grandpa Gohan, Goku), after the tournament we could have had some cool development because he thought he was the only surviving warrior and therefore the only one who could stop King Piccolo but his broken leg prevented his participation in the conflict and that definitely saved his life, we could consider as an achievement survived the attack of Tambourine but it was just a matter of luck.

Thanks to his training with Karin, he returned to the next tournament with great new techniques and a great haircut… unfortunately he faced the mysterious Shen (who was Kami in "disguise”) but that didn’t prevent him from showing us another great technique that unfortunately we haven’t seen enough… Sōkidan (Spirit Ball), after this tournament his next big fight would be the cause of years of bullying and jokes against him and his ability to fight, in other words… a meme!

Behold…Yamcha’s Death Pose! yeah, the fight that truly ruined Yamcha’s fighter career but let’s be honest, he wouldn’t be what he is if it not were for this fight, for this image of him! and let’s be even more honest, it wasn’t his inability to fight what made him lose but underestimate the enemy, another case of him being used as cannon fodder, because although Tenshinhan was the first to fight against a Saibamen… nobody knew about their ability to self-destruct, anyway! after that we didn’t have moments of Yamcha fighting (except the filler episode where he defeats Recoome) but he was still Bulma’s boyfriend and therefore an important secondary character of Dragon Ball, but everything changed when the “Badman” attacked…

When Vegeta entered Bulma’s life and pregnant her in few months (damn!), Yamcha was without a purpose… that happens when you’re a bad boyfriend, although Vegeta wasn’t a good husband and father neither if we consider that he practically left his family to go to train in space and when returned he didn’t care if Dr. Gero kills them or not… but well, I already talked about this and the great development for good that Vegeta had over the years, talking about Gero, Yamcha become his first Z-Fighter victim (another case of cannon fodder lol) and then he became even more a support character than a fighter, participating in the fight against the Cell Jr only because there was no other option, another humiliating defeat but let’s be honest, except Gohan the only one who fought well against them was Piccolo! during the Majin Buu Saga his participation was more than null, highlighting his fight against Olibu but as it was a filler episode with even more filler characters, well…

His next great “feat” was be the first non-saiyan to hit Beerus although he didn’t participate in the fight, then he wasn’t considered to fight against Frieza soldiers, but for some stupid and inconsistent reason Master Roshi was able to fight them, you know, that character that was less powerful than Yamcha, Chiaotzu and even Yajirobe… anyway! his non-participation in the Tournament of Power doesn’t annoy me if we consider that techniques and strategies are almost as important as the power, in that Master Roshi is much superior to Yamcha and I dare to say to all the Z-Fighters, although to be honest, would have been a great opportunity to “Make Yamcha G̶r̶e̶a̶t̶ Average Again” I mean…

Don’t tell me that wouldn’t have been awesome see Yamcha with his Wolf Fang Fist alongside Tenshinhan and Krillin in the Boogie Back Ending! but well, they chose go “full joke“ with him and now he’s waiting for Goku to recruit him, maybe Yamcha finally found his role in Dragon Ball, a role he lost when he stopped being Bulma’s boyfriend… I don’t know, anyway, in conclusion, Yamcha is a joke? yes! he was always a joke? no! he was a loser, but never a joke! it’s internet fault? a little but it doesn’t matter anymore because I doubt Yamcha can once again become an important warrior unless… you know what would be cool and crazy? that a new enemy appears on Earth during the tournament and only Yamcha can stop him because Goten and Trunks can’t leave the Island of Android 17, then everyone returns and no one knows of the heroic struggle of Yamcha against the new force of evil :P not a great idea, but would be hilarious xD

Some people, who probably hate Gohan, are saying that he will be eliminated in the next episode just for the title “Gohan’s last stand”, sorry but that doesn’t mean anything yet and maybe we should wait for the spoilers to draw more conclusions, but I think this is what will happen…

Yeah, Gohan and Frieza are in trouble, they can’t hit Dyspo thanks to his super speed (something that combined with his great power put Hit and Goku SSG/SSB in a bind before), eliminating Dyspo is essential if they want Frieza’s help against Toppo and this is where Gohan’s plan gets under way…

As you can clearly see in the images, Gohan’s plan is to catch Dyspo in a “cage“ made of Frieza’s Death Beam, that will serve to counteract Dyspo’s super speed because it will limit his movements but will also put Gohan in a hard place, now he can’t escape or receive help, it’s a one on one fight where only the best will win and I’m sure will be Gohan, this risky strategy used by Gohan is the reason why the episode is called “Gohan’s last stand“, IMO.

And yeah! let’s not forget Frieza’s possible betrayal, but it will not be in next episode, he will wait… but Gohan knows that, can’t wait for the rematch!

•Episode 124: for now we know that Gohan will help Frieza, maybe because him and 17 need his helps against Toppo, but what Gohan doesn’t know is that Frieza apparently makes a deal with Dyspo, something surprising because I doubt that Toppo and Jiren approve that kind of deal with a supervillain but well, I’m sure Frieza will betray U7 but not now, he will wait and help Gohan, together they will defeat Dyspo.

•Episode 125: We know that this episode is about Toppo, it’s very likely that he will becomes a God or releases all his hidden power, in this episode I think he will eliminate 17 and kick the asses of Gohan and Frieza, they will be saved by Vegeta and we will have the rematch, Vegeta with his new power and Toppo as God of Destruction.

•Episode 126: We know that this episode is about Vegeta and that his power will be “superior” to that of a God, considering that the previous episode is about Toppo releasing all his God power, I think the fight is between them, I’m 70% sure that Toppo and Vegeta will eliminate each other in this episode or in 127, in the other 30% I think a really tired Vegeta will defeat Toppo but will be eliminated by a treacherous attack by Frieza.

•Episode 127 or 128 and onwards: We know nothing about episode 127 onwards, we don’t have spoilers yet, but I’m sure the final 3 U7 warriors will be…

and Frieza, knowing that Jiren is too OP, will help U11, as I said before, maybe his betrayal begins by eliminating Vegeta or maybe by attacking Gohan, something sad because it would end one of the best new “friendships” of Dragon Ball…

but at least we will have a true rematch after 100 episodes, I still remember when Frieza humiliated Gohan, I hope Gohan kick his ass now.

Now the question is… how would Jiren react to seeing a betrayal? one of the greatest acts of evil! he will be fine with this? he will eliminate Frieza? I don’t know, I guess we should wait and see.

As a fan of Gohan I have the theory and the hope that Gohan is the one who defeat Jiren, I think Frieza is part of Goku’s plan to awaken the true power of Gohan, just think about it! Jiren is a good guy, if he win I’m sure he will revive U7 and the other erased universes, not to mention that if Zeno erase universe 7 it would be an instant “death” for Videl and Pan, if Frieza wins, U7 will survive but Frieza’s wish will only bring death and chaos, I think Frieza could be the spark that ignites Gohan’s anger, with enough raw power to defeat Jiren, but I know this is Goku and Vegeta show so… there aren’t many chances :(

Also, another thing… I think Gohan is the one who most deserves the Super Dragon Ball’s wish! maybe he didn’t eliminate a lot of warriors, maybe he was saved a lot of times, maybe he isn’t the strongest, but let’s see the other 4 U7 members:

-17 wants a fucking boat, something that he can wish with the normal Dragon Balls.

-Vegeta wants to revive only U6.

-Frieza wants something evil, interesting but evil. 

-Goku is an idiot, he will waste the wish… maybe he wants to revive U6, maybe he wants to finally revive Kaiosama (King Kai), maybe he wants to meet another strong warrior but I’m sure it will be something stupid.

I think Gohan will use his wish to revive all the erased universes, like a true hero, then all those beings will be redistributed among the 5 universes and everyone happy.

Universe 2: Magical team!

They have:

- Brianne, an “innocent girl” with great power when she Ribrianne, I assume her two friends have the same skill… underestimate them would be a big mistake and let’s hope Roshi can control himself for real.

- A big purple guy, possibly the first target of the other universes… he look very mystical too, he could have great endurance and strength.

- A succubus, another mágical being… ok Roshi, maybe you have some problems here, I also assume that she could use her sensuality and also have powers to hypnotize men.

- Two shadows warriors… great problem if they attack together, but z warriors can feel the ki of their enemies, they may be a problem for Frieza, also Krillin could be very useful here with his new Taioken.

- A Yardratian… damn! these are problems, not so strong but with a vast variety of special abilities, Goku may have an advantage because he trained with them for a while, but they only taught him one skill, Roshi, Tenshinhan and Krillin techniques could be useful.

- Another being that look mystical, his hands on his back indicates that he could have psychic and telekinetic powers… also, much balance.

- A old guy that looks like an improved version of Roshi, can’t wait to see them fight… but he also look like a superhero.

Universe 3: Robotic/tech team

They have:

- A scientist, he doesn’t seem strong … but he could be a big problem for Android 17 and 18, both are still cyborgs, if a remote control was capable of incapacitating them I don’t want to imagine what else could happen if he can “hack” them, big problem for Universe 7, yet he remains the most vulnerable, if any universe is able of defeating him maybe the other members will lose teamwork, in case all the warriors have a hive mind.

- 5 robots, they seem to have a lot of resistance and several other advantages to survive and not fall.

- 3 that look like cyborgs or artificial bio beings like Cell or Mira, don’t seem to have much resistance, but will have agility advantage.

- One that look a bit like Baby, another bio warrior I guess… very dangerous IMO.

Universe 4: Treacherous team 1

They have:

- Ganos, a spy who was able to travel to another universe, although perhaps with the help of Quitela… I don’t trust him, looks like someone who is going to stab you in the back and also cheats.

- A Fox or something like that, seems to be a great martial artist, too honorable for this team?

- A big guy, strong? maybe… overconfident? for sure… he will lose too fast? definitely

- A very mystical but I guess not so strong girl, gets scared when the big guy hits the floor with his foot.

- A being that… well, seems that he doesn’t care much for what happens around him.

- Another girl that look very mystical.

- Beast from Beauty and the Beast… now in Dragon Ball.

- A girl that look like a Majin Buu kind of fighter

- Two hidden characters, according to the wiki one would be Damon, who has the ability to disappear and reappear on the ground or in the sky… the other I have no idea, Tenshinhan could be useful in this fight given he already felt the presence of both.

Universe 6: Well known team with new and dangerous faces

They have:

- Hit, we already know what he is capable of  and may have further improved his techniques… the no-kill rule will limit him again.

- Caulifla and Kale… I count them as one given their relationship, both are extremely strong and dangerous, big problems for all if Caulifla is hurted.

- Cabba… not as strong as both female saiyan, but he know about super saiyan blue transformation so he know how to fight against universe 7 saiyan or at least know their limits.

- Magetta… possibly the most useful character on the team, IMO, we know that he is extremely durable, he resisted a final flash!! also he was never able to fly, so he has an advantage when it comes to fighting on the ground.

- Botamo… another useful character for the team, it’s very difficult to damage him and also he doesn’t lose energy… but it’s an easy target too, many could easily push him off the platform.

- Frost, problems… so many problems, he’s a cheater and already made an alliance with an opponent, also he could achieve his Golden form with the help of Frieza.

- Pumba in Dragon Ball… ohhhh this is great, look like a psychic character.

- Two unknown characters, but the silhouettes look a bit similar to Hit… well, both seems to have demon ears, as if they were Dabura or Mira… what if… nah! too crazy, right?

Universe 7: Too bad Yamcha isn’t here… jk, Gods aren’t allowed to fight xD

They have:

- Goku… he’s the protagonist, he will definitely be one the the “finalist”, with a new transformation or perhaps total control of his super saiyan blue form, not good at teamwork.

- Vegeta… the saiyan prince, I don’t know how old he is now, he spends more time in the hyperbolic Time Chamber than in his own house, he was banned…he has definitely mastered his super saiyan blue form, not good at teamwork.

- Gohan… the one with the hidden potential, yeah again lol… I really think he’s going to achieve a new transformation, my dream is see Gohan as the first canon super saiyan 4 in super, now renamed super saiyan primal or something like that, you know! ozaru power!!!

- Piccolo… really useful, not as strong as I expected but he’s a tactician, his powers and techniques will be of great help, also… he’s Gohan’s shield xD thanks Green Dad for your sacrifice nº 54712.

- Android 17… definitely the most useful character in the team, strong as hell, has an energy shield that resists a super saiyan blue Kamehameha, also infinite energy! his big problem, as I said before… universe 3.

- Android 18… not as useful as his brother, but infinite energy! also great teamword with his husband.

- Krillin… creative with his powers during battles, great number of techniques, master of martial arts, excellently good at teamwork and could be underestimated by his enemies, great combination!

- Tenshinhan… one of my favorite to be honest, but the least benefited during the recruitment episodes, not so strong anymore but he’s the second best martial artist of the team and also the second with more special techniques, IMO… can’t wait for the new Kikoho!

- Roshi… definitely the best martial artist of the team, the character with more special techniques and who more experience and wisdom has… not strong, really weak to be honest and maybe he still has his weakness.

- Frieza… ok, the big problem here, strong as a super saiyan blue Goku and maybe even, definitely a traitor that doesn’t care about his own universe, not good at teamwork.

Universe 9:  Treacherous team 2 aka as furry team.

Isn’t coincidence that both treacherous teams are those who have Gods that tried to cheat, they have:

- Trio de Dangers… oh I would have loved to see Yamcha defeating the brothers with his Rogafufuken, anyway… we know what they are capable of, the less dangerous is Basil, he don’t have drugs now lol, while Bergamo is the strongest one (also the most vulnerable biggest target ever!), I think Lavender is the most dangerous.

- The “purple Groot” that look very resistant and his “Rocket” friend that look equally but in agility.

- We have another rabbit tcould be super fast as Dyspo from Universe 11.

- A furry Black Widow.

- A demon with wings… big problem unless you can shoot him instantly.

- A metal dragon that look almost as resistant as the “purple Groot” or even more.

- And an amphibious looking martial artist.

Universe 10: Godtube’s most viewed martial artists team!

This team is perfect for Tenshinhan, Krillin and Roshi… they have:

- Anabolic Krillin, team leader… maybe great balance.

- 6 fighters with different styles, : Sumo Pig, Boxer Kibito, Hitmonchan,  Papa Smurf,  Hitmonlee and the ugliest woman in the galaxy, their different fighting styles could be a big problem.

- Two flying characters… not only that, two annoying flying characters!

- Sir Richard Rose fusion with Zarbon.

Universe 11: I already love them, don’t tell Universe 7!

They have:

- Jiren… the big “bad” of the arc, the Superman of the team, the one that will defeat Hit like saying to Goku “and you’re next, bitch!” and the one that will be the new rival of Goku from now, sorry Vegeta, sorry Frieza, sorry Hit.

- Toppo… he will defeat the evil, almost as strong as a super saiyan blue so is a problem for all, but I think he will sacrifice his life to save Goku from a treacherous attack from “you know who”.

- Dyspo…. ohhhh the supersonic warrior, great problem for all the slow ones.

- Kahseral… probably my favorite and another candidate to sacrifice, I think that since Kid Goku I didn’t see such a pure soul, maybe he will be the one that will convince Toppo that Goku isn’t the real evil.

- Many unnamed warriors that will serve as cannon fodder… but I hope the girl and the little one have their moment of glory.

Here are some things I think will happen during the tournament, some are joking :P

• Yamcha will go to the tournament… but as the new leader of the Trio de Danger from universe 9, Ultimate Rogafufuken! that happen when you don’t consider Yamcha for the tournament… he even wanted to fight for free! xD

• Krillin will defeat Murichim.

• Tenshinhan will die but will throw several rivals of the platform with his new double Kikoho plus Kaioken.

• Master Roshi will use the Mafuba.

• There will be an alternate Yamcha from universe 6 that isn’t a loser.

• 17 shield will save Krillin’s life.

• 18 will be hacked by universe 3 warriors and will lose on purpose to avoid damaging Krillin and 17.

• Frieza and Frost will make an alliance.

• Goku vs Toppo rematch, Hit vs Jiren.

• Cabba will discover the alliance between Frieza and Frost, he will fight both but Frieza escape.

• Frieza tries to kill Goku with a treacherous attack but Toppo, realizing that the true evil is Frieza and not Goku, stands between them and sacrifices his life… Frieza is disqualified and Jiren defeat Hit.

• Frost reaches the Golden form and defeats Cabba, that makes Kale angry.

• Kale go full crazy, throws many warriors off the platform… even Caulifla.

• Piccolo saves his son again and is defeated…

• Gohan reaches Super Saiyan Blue state or even better… Super Saiyan 4, canon and now called Super Saiyan Primal or something like that, then he fight against Kale.

• Vegeta defeat Ribrianne with the help of Master Roshi, who managed to overcome his weakness for attractive women but now he likes “not attractive” women.

• Gohan, Vegeta and Android 17 aren’t enough for Kale, that is now the most powerful of all… meanwhile, Goku manages to absorb and channel the power of Super Saiyan Blue and prepare to fight Jiren.

• They see their battle interrupted by Kale, both must join forces to defeat her…

• They succeed and continue their battle until the time limit, the winner is… Universe 7 because everybody forgot Krillin, so they have two warrior and universe 11 only one.

• Zeno prepares to eliminate the loser universe but Goku insists on asking the wish before… the wish is that all the mortal beings, Gods and planets of the loser universes are now part of the universe 7.

Universe 7, renamed Universe 3, is now the universe with the highest mortal level… Toppo became the new God of Destruction and Zeno is planning a new tournament, this time just for fun.

• Yamcha is still waiting for the invitation…

- Goku: Looks like we need another warrior… Yamcha!
- Yamcha: Yes?? ^_^
- Goku: Go find the Dragon Balls… we need to revive Frieza!
- Yamcha: …

Jokes aside, I like Frieza, he’s probably the best DBZ villain but I hope the rumor is false… I mean, it makes sense that Beerus orders Goku to revive Frieza so the 7th universe has more chances, but I’m a little tired of Frieza’s returns, why not revive Cell? he would even enjoy the tournament! revive Dabura! he’s a good guy but only in filler episodes :P make Pikkon canon!! revive Raditz *_* he deserves a second chance.
