• Not them having characters with depth and realistic flaws
• Not them pacing the show beautifully
• Not them having characters that you actually care about
• Not them having introverted characters who are just trying to understand their own feelings and emotions
• Not them having side characters grow, understand, and try to express their feelings
• Not them being just regular teenage angst
• Not them having characters just try to navigate school life and all the bullshit that comes along with it
• Not them saying we’re gonna close out the year with a banger
