Okay for some reason this post of mine blew up again recently and because I’ve been getting shit for it again (figure):
there’s nothing wrong with getting into their music with the new movies or any other way really, I legit just made this post because I was annoyed at everyone just assuming that’s how you get into older music as a teenagers/young adult when they are world famous artists for Christ sake. Like a lot of us grew up around this type of music, and yes, even if they weren’t released in our generation. If you became familiar to their music through the new releases that’s perfectly fine and all power to you my friend! This post wasn’t made with the intentions of belittling anyone who were introduced to Elton and Queen that way, just as a way a jokingly vent out frustration
