{Fuji X-E1 and VSCO-Fuji 400H}

After years of shooting only with film, I’m transitioning partly to digital. The cost and time of film is rising so much. Digital photography generally leaves me cold, so I’m trying to find an alternative that satisfies my love for the film aesthetic. I’ve settled on a Fujifilm X-E1, editing the photos with Lightroom 5 and VSCO Film 1 package. Options include Fuji 400H (used here), Portra 160, Portra 400, Tri-X and more! So far, I’m very happy with the results, though I’m still experimenting.

These photos are from Sunday, when I made a trip to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for the Welcome Yule show and the Art Institute for the Art and Appetite special exhibit. I love Christmas in Chicago.
