I know many of you are fans of my gnolls, so enjoy another helping of gnoll character design courtesy of Ganelon, who asked me to design a skirmisher-type character who would use nets and knives as her main arsenal. ~COMMISSION DETAILS~ Media Used: Clip Studio Paint Time Taken: 4 hours Completed on: October 11th, 2018 Post link
I really should offer to draw more sketchpages every so often, just for fun’s sake. It’s nice to cram a whole bunch of different concepts into a single canvas without worrying too much about refining with colour or large amounts of detail. Though obviously I get carried away regardless~ Here, I had fun drawing a page of Freya and Dev for Ganelon, showing off some pampered majesty, James Bond-esque flaunting, and adorable animal forms!~COMMISSION DETAILS~ Media Used: Clip Studio Paint Time Taken: 2 hours, 55 minutes Completed on: October 4th, 2018 Post link
This lovely piece is for Ganelon’s D&D party from the campaign he’s currently a part of, consisting of Nephthys the gorgon, Barry the warforged, Issek the sheth, and Paris the… human. I’m extremely pleased with the amount of detail I was able to pull out of this image to depict this adorable group, especially with their matching scarves~~COMMISSION DETAILS~ Media Used: Clip Studio Paint Time Taken: 13 hours Completed on: September 27th, 2018 Post link
This is the last of Ganelon’s NPC commissions, depicting members from the Wolf and Turtle clans of the Ashan region. The Wolf clan is full of hunters, trappers, and fur traders who make their home in the bountiful hunting grounds in the southern center of Ashan. Members of this clan have become the pack and literal family of their patron spirit, inheriting some spiritual heritage from the beast that gives the clan their famous white hair, among other minor spiritually-linked traits. Wolves value unity and loyalty above all else, and have difficulty trusting those they consider to be outsiders. Turtle clan members, on the other hand, are not associated with any particular location or settlement, and travel through all the territories of Ashan and beyond to trade their goods. They carry everything they need to survive and peddle their businesses on their backs, giving them the look of their clan’s namesake. ~COMMISSION DETAILS~ Media Used: Clip Studio Paint Time Taken: 5 hours, 25 minutes Completed on: August 16th, 2018 Post link
Continuing with the work I’ve been doing for Ganelon over the last few months, I was asked to paint up a few more examples of Ashani fashion, giving some more examples for possible outfits that each of the clans might have for various purposes! I was given pretty much free reign in what I could design, with some very light direction from Ganelon, so I had a lot of fun experimenting with a new method of clothing design I learned from GRIZandNORM that utilizes silhouettes for experimenting with initial planning. c: ~COMMISSION DETAILS~ Media Used: Clip Studio Paint Time Taken: 6 hours, 25 minutes Completed on: February 28th, 2019 Post link
