@ the anon that gave me their discord, I am wary as hell about adding strangers to my discord, but thanks for the offer re: Garlean RPers! I just… don’t have the time or energy to RP with my own friends atm so I’m not really looking for more groups.
I’m told the nightmares will one day get better, less intense - that one day I’ll wake up and it won’t take me as long to realize I’m someplace safe. It ought to be more of a relief than it is.
I have been making myself go out to signing lessons. Making myself do the research to find specialists. The young man that has been helping me at the consulate has been keeping on top of things, it will just take time to hear back from anyone.
Time. It’s a waiting game, all of it, and I get so tired of waiting, I’ve never been a patient girl.
At least learning sign has been going well. I found a teacher within a week after my clinic visit and have been attending lessons regularly ever since. It’s very diffcult to go out, even now, and I just keep reminding myself that I need to do this. My life can’t just stop.
No Ala Mhigan or Eorzean is going to make me a prisoner ever again.
A very old post of mine from 3.0 with screenshots of Garlean titles from the Great Gubal Library has gained quite a lot of notes recently. The information in that post has now been outdated for some time, and also contained some errors. It’s a bit annoying that the way Tumblr works means I can’t really edit the original post in a meaningful way so I thought I’d make a new and more comprehensive one instead, with the relevant page from the lore book.
If you want a more simple reference, the FF Wiki’s page on Garlemald has a written list, but I wanted to post this as it contains some additional information not listed on the wiki.
