Full length look at the Sarek-inspired outfit J and I created for me to wear to last night’s @startrekcbs Discovery premiere. We adore @gershaphillips’ costume design for Discovery and had a lot of fun making a fashion outfit inspired by Sarek’s robes. The dress design features a collared neck, with a low-cut back and hi-low skirt complimented by a 3-tiered high collared shrug. Paired with black leggings, heels, and @rocklovejewelry’s IDIC necklace in Vulcan script

I enjoy designing/making fashion outfits for important events, so when J and I got invites to the premiere of @startrekcbs Discovery, we went to work!

This fabric I came across a few weeks ago just screamed “Sarek” and J and I knew exactly the kind of look we wanted to create. While I helped with some basic sewing, J is the rockstar who made this entire outfit from start to finish in less than 24 hours! This outfit is all about the high collared shrug, featured in this shot, as it’s our favorite part about Sarek’s costume and is the focal point of our inspired look. Of course I had to pair it with @rocklovejewelry’s stunning Kol-ut-shan necklace

I’m mildly obsessed with the idea of seasonal tribbles. I mean, lookit how cute they are?!
I sketched out this shirt design last year, but we weren’t able to get these made until this year. Almost missing Halloween a second time. Oi
J took my original sketch and made it MUCH better. Ya know, so that it’s a design someone would actually buy and wear, lol.

Last night’s #OOTD to see #SOLO featured J’s anniversary present to me earlier this year…an actual “Planetoid Valleys” Lapponia necklace OMGAAAAAWDWTF
I paired it with a black tank top cape (cuz Lando), Bloodstripe leggings from @goldbubbleclothing, and @loungefly’s #MillenniumFalcon coin purse.
I was super thrilled to have some looooong overdue socialization after the film back at @scumandvillainycantina with some of the best geeks I have ever known Hope y’all enjoy the film!
