Gems OC - The Ore Trio
Gold, Iron and Copper
They was gems that loved the gem empiry and revolted before Steven finished every tyranny of the Diamonds. So they team up because they had the same thoughs. They are bullys that poff gems for fun and use heavy armor pieces to look like a gang. Gold is too much strong, more than Jasper, but she is bit slow. Iron is very fast and agile with swords and weapons, and copper can remove parts of anything and throw away with her mind. If it should be a season of SU, Steven and the gems could try redempt each one to be good. They supposed to be small groups of peoples with evil thougs like the ones that exist in real life.
The purpose of each type of gem in homeworld is:
Gold: Destroy old gem builds that don’t have more purpose.
Iron: Upgrade Bismuth weapons to more sharp and good than Bismuths can make.
Copper: Fix Big and Confusing gem tecnologies with errors and bugs.

Citrine “Cy” Reference
Cy is a citrine who lives in the deep underbelly of Homeworld. Missing a leg since she emerged, she was unfit to fight for the empire and branded an “off-color”. Like her fellow banished gems, her living conditions made her grow bitter toward the empire, and she wanted nothing more than a better future for herself and her kin.

I’ve recently decided to move the pages primarily to tapas, where I do the rest of my comic-ing.
Chapter One is uploaded (with some edited dialogue). I’ll keep updating pages over here (as many as I can with the new image limit), and post character art and other posts, but I’ll post full comics/chapters over there.

Gemsona Fusion - Year of Sheen
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYBODY! I’m so excited for 2017! Why? Because 2017 is the Chinese zodiac year of the Rooster!MY YEAR! I have high hopes for this year and I hope that me and my other fellow Roosters have good fortune this year!

Gemsona - Heliodor Inspired Brass Bangle
This was a solid brass bangle I made in jewelry class.
The center piece (Helio’s gem) is made from old brass apartment keys and was casted out of cuttle fish bone, then soldered onto the band.
The band part was sawed from a sheet of brass.
I got a 100 on this. I’m suuuuuuper proud of it.

did some tests on designing a gem
she likes real fizzy soda and socks that are high enough to cover the gem on her knee (shes got two fake gems on her arms too to confuse any attackers bc her defenses arent that great considering talc is a very brittle mineral). she probably does the dale gribble pocket sand thing then runs away except its like talc powder and it makes a huge cloud of irritating dust over everything. shes gotta wear gloves to keep herself from scratching at her skin as well because if she does too much it flakes off into powder and it takes a while for her physical form to regenerate
don’t know too much about her other than that but shes probably a huge dweeb and the only human thing she knows how to do is operate a soda machine and she is v proud of that

Goldfish
A gem type I saw in a dream last week! I couldn’t figure out what exactly their gem was in the dream so I’m naming it on the spot right now:
Celestine
Most of the dream was scrambled nonsense, as dreams tend to be. I won’t get into the superfluous details, but this gem stood out to me. They were very tall, and there were a lot of them. They moved in a long, slow line with their hands clasped together in a “prayer” and were totally in-sync, singing a hymn/song that I couldn’t understand. But it was beautiful, if not haunting in a sense. I gathered in the dream that these gems either were made to use their voice-powers to either “wake up” gems ready to pop out of their Kindergarten, or to “bless the harvest”, so to speak.
It was difficult to capture what I felt and saw, and admittedly she looks a bit goofy. But I’m happy with the result. Creating something based off a somewhat vivid dream was very interesting and I hope it happens again!!
