Analog Horror series you MUST check out

WARNING! IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH DEREALIZATION, PARANOIA AND ANXIETY, BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THESE!

• Local 58 : *loads gun* Moon’s haunted
• Gemini Home Entertainment : *loads gun again* Solar System’s haunted (Alien invasion type story. Ominous, original and great worldbuilding. Mostly documentary style)
• The Mandela Catalogue : Doppelgangers, religious conspiracy, body horror. Remember, nothing is worth the risk.
• The Walten Files : FNAF but like subtle. Cute art style too!
• The Monument Mythos : Landmarks are sus in an alternate timeline. Also Suez Canal Crab my beloved.
• Mystery Flesh Pit National Park : What if spelunking but meaty? (This one’s here on tumblr and also reddit! Not quite analog horror but the vibe is there)

In the video “OUR SOLAR SYSTEM” you can breifly see an ‘eye’ open and close on neptune after the video says it has been mutated. 

The Iris: A giant sentient planet-sized organism that exists do take over and devour the solar system.

The Iris’s ‘moons’: Smaller planet-sized oranisms created from/by the Iris during its conquests. They seem to be nothing more than a byproduct of the Iris or at most funtion as extra methods of growth and spread.

Gardeners: Organisms that either live on or were created by the Iris whose only purpose is to create giant nests to rear more of itself. They are believed to be the fully formed mature version of a woodcrawler or a subtype of woodcrawler used to care for and breed the others. 

Woodcrawlers: Creatures created from exposure natures Mockery (or organically by the gardeners) that funtion as drones. They exist to spread their influence by hijacking human (or animal) hosts and for clearing territory to build nests.

Natures Mockery: The end-stage form of a human-born woodcrawler that takes the shape of a jagged plant rooted deep into the ground. Upon exposure, these plants are able to spread their properties onto human hosts (causing “Deep root disease”) and thus creating more woodcrawlers. They could also be the beginning stage of organically grown (gardener created) woodcrawlers. 

Fake people: These are humans that are undergoing the process of turning into a woodcrawler as a result of Deep Root Disease. These people are still funtionally woodcrawlers but still retain a human-like appearance (at least for a little while). These can also be created via direct contact with a woodcrawler infestation. 

Skinwalkers: Similar to Fake People, these are Woodcrawlers what are able to take and maintain a human form and are (from what we can tell) highly sentient. These being also seem to be the ones communicating and working with Moonlight Acres and Ragnad computing (at least they are the proxys being used for the Iris to do so). 

“The Bear”: This creature was at one point an actual bear that the staff of the Moonlight Acres camp chose to sacrifice in place of a human. This bear was then corrupted by (what can only be assumed is) Nature’s Mockery and was mutated into a vaguely Bear-looking abomination that had an endless desire to consume. This bear creature killed off the camp staff but 1 person and is the direct reason why the camp was shut down between the 40s and 80s.
