Ramuda had woken up maybe an hour ago, he can’t exactly tell. He had gotten up to grab a candy at one point, but he could immediately tell that it wasn’t going to help him with the impending attack sneaking up on him.
Dice doesn’t know how to respond, he doesn’t know the situation, what he does know is that this probably isn’t how he was supposed to find out his actual connection to the studio, vague as it is. He knows that Gentaro’s not voicing all of his thoughts, he wishes that he wasn’t holding back, but he can at least appreciate the fact that he’s being told anything at all.
The announcement for their stop soon came on and Dice began to nudge Ramuda awake, which was only a little bit troublesome. They exited the train, Dice pulling out his cigarette again and smoking it on the walk to the house, Ramuda rejecting the offer for one.

Where is he? He works through that question first, trying to remember what led him to this alley. He was…gambling…and then he was on a great streak…then he was running out of the building? Now why was he running? He can’t place the reason, after a minute of thinking. He really overdid it with the alcohol, maybe it had to do with that? He hears some commotion on the street and looks over, seeing a group of people pass the alley while laughing. He should get out and at least onto the sidewalk, he acts first before actually thinking it.
