aaaaaaaahhh! I’m so happy now that I’ve watched f&tws. I’m so pleased to see how well they’re setting up the story (I’m still sad it will be so short tho). I was kinda expecting to see Sam and Bucky interact but I’m delighted we got to see more of Sam’s life and how Bucky is adapting to The Future.

I think it’s especially good the way they’re telling Sam’s story because it is evident, at least to me, that the arc will be heavily focused on him and his journey to accept that he is the right person to wield the shield. He doesn’t see it yet and it’s obvious they didn’t want him to take the mantle *coughs*racism*coughs* but He Will See. 

I’m also super excited about Bucky and his growth. Glad that he’s also putting himself out there to try and find what he wants to do even when he’s struggling to find who he is outside the battle.  They’ll definitely help each other out me thinks. 

Another thing! LOVED the score, the way they keep using the Winter Soldier track for Bucky is just so so good. it’s so shrill it really gives you that feeling of what goes on in Bucky’s head. 

Agreed! I would have liked to see Bucky and Sam interacting in the first episode, but I enjoyed seeing them going on their separate journeys.

As someone who loves Steve Rogers, I can’t wait to accompany Sam’s journey to become Cap. Also, I’m looking forward to seeing Sam and Bucky stealing the shield.

The use of the Winter Soldier track is just really awesome. I’m really glad Henry Jackman is still working with Bucky and Sam’s stories.

I also really liked that Joaquin Torres is a part of the series.

And, I may or may not have screamed “BATROC!”

YEA!! I was pleasantly surprised that we got to see what they’re up to after Everything happened instead of jumping right into it, because I think this will really contextualize their actions around the whole Cap situation (Sam) and what motivates them to fight again (in Bucky’s case).

Aaahh, BATROC!!! I think he and Rhodey were my biggest surprises, I loved it. Glad he returned and that they’re probably now framing him as a Sam!Cap villain.

Joaquin is such a sweetheart, his relationship with Sam so far is super nice and I’m sure he’ll also be a big part to make Sam realize that he has everything to be a Role Model.

I’m also very excited to see Bucky embrace/reclaim (I guess?) aspects of his Winter Soldier persona, realize that he can do good with them.

I should have probably added this to my original post, lol. but I’m currently rewatching and I have a lot of thoughts!

Tl;dr. This is the Bucky we deserve. Sam is awesome, he’ll be an amazing Cap and I’m glad we’re getting to see their Growth. (CAN’T WAIT TO SEE SHARON TOO)
