Idol: Yein (Lovelyz)

Prompt: Lovelyz Yein scenario where she meets female reader while jogging and they meet eachother like it’s a routine everyday. Yein falls for reader and the reader feels the same but they are strangers so one of them makes a move as one day when they pass by eachother. Like something along the lines of running after one another and asking for their names. Fluffy fluff please

Writer: Admin Kiwi

A/N: I still can’t believe that Lovelyz disbanded, they were one of my favorite groups and Achoo is still my favorite Kpop love song. I’m going to miss them so much. I’ve been thinking of them because always come to my mind during spring and summer. Do yourself a favor and listen to some Lovelyz to brighten your day, and I hope you all enjoy!

Yein liked having a routine. It was something that helped start her days off right, and as long as she was able to do her morning routine, she could handle even the craziest days. That was why she woke up early every morning, ate a delicious breakfast (because eating good food is very important) and then went on a quick run around the neighborhood, starting her day off with the sun. Then, when she got home, she’d have a hot shower and a cup of coffee and would be ready to conquer the world, energized and usually happy. It was only when the weather was bad that she didn’t follow this exact routine. Sure, maybe it was great that all of her neighbors probably knew her schedule, but she liked to focus on the benefits, like the fact that she’d gotten to know all of the neighborhood dogs and got to see all of the cats in the windows soaking up the morning sun.

It was also a perk that she got to run into you every morning. She was sure that she never would have met you had the two of you not run into each other so often on your morning jogs. Of course, she didn’t reallyknowyou, the two of you had only exchanged greetings and occasional small talk as you both stopped to pet a dog or take a photo of a nice view, but in a way she felt like she knew you.

She knew that her morning routine lined up with yours almost every day. She knew that you lived on the opposite side of the block than her, because the two of you were always going in opposite directions. She knew that you liked to listen to music while you ran, although she could sometimes hear a podcast coming through your earbuds on the weekends. She also knew that you liked animals, as she’d seen you stop to pet them many times now. She knew what brand of athletic wear you liked, and even what your favorite color was, because you had mentioned it once when she complimented your shirt.

She knew all of this, but still didn’t even know your name. Your smile brightened her mornings and she loved the sound of your voice when you playfully commented on meeting her so often, but she wasn’t sure if you looked forward to the brief meetings as much as she did.

“You’re head over heels for this person whose name you don’t even know, after seeing them, like, five minutes tops a day?” Mijoo said when Yein told her about you, shaking her head incredulously and laughing loudly despite the looks she got from the people around them in the crowded café. “Honestly, I’m kind of impressed! That sounds like something that would happen in a drama, you know?”

“It’s my life, not a drama,” Yein whined in response, already regretting coming to her older friend for advice. She should have known that the other girl would laugh at her even after being bribed with coffee. “I should have told Sujeong or Soojung instead, at least they’d be helpful!”

“Aren’t they both single?” Mijoo shot back, leaning back in her chair with a smug grin. “Meanwhile, I’m dating the love of my life and the woman of everyone’s dreams. Shouldn’t you be asking me for flirting advice instead of complaining?”

“Does Jisoo know you talk about her like that?” The younger girl winkled her nose in annoyance and took a sip of her coffee, knowing that people were glancing at them, but also knowing that asking her to quiet down was useless. At this point in their friendship, she was used to standing out.

“She knows and she loves it.”

“I doubt that.” Yein sighed, running a hand through her hair. “Plus, she’s got weird taste, and your idea of flirting is making weird poses and yelling until the person you like looks at you.”

“It worked, didn’t it?”

“Yeah, but only because Jisoo is into weirdos like you. If I did that….” She shuddered at the very thought. Mijoo was pretty and charming enough that her craziness just made her more attractive, but Yein was sure she would never be able to pull of the things that the older girl did. She could already see how confused you would be if she even tried, because it was so against her character.

The older girl let out a soft laugh (soft by her standards, at least) and leaned forward again, reaching over the table to pat Yein’s shoulder. “Listen, I’ll be serious for a second. You’re really pretty and sweet, and you’ve got that ‘innocent girl next door’ vibe working for you. Anyone would be lucky to have you as their girlfriend. Honestly, I would be more surprised if this mystery jogging person wasn’t already attracted to you, because I know that I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone that early in the morning.”

“What if they’re just a morning person?”

“You’re a morning person, right? Would you stop and talk to everyone you passed every morning?”

The younger girl paused, mulled the question over. “Well, now that I think about it, no. I usually just kind of nod and smile, unless they have a dog. Then I stop and say hello to pet it.”

“There you go, then. Are they the only person you stop to talk to?”

Honestly, she couldn’t really remember how or why the two of you had started to exchange small talk while passing each other. She did remember smiling at you that first time and thinking that you were attractive, but over the last few months the two of you had somehow started to occasionally chat and exchange jokes in the morning. Did it start because both of you stopped to pet the same dog? It had happened so naturally, just like falling for you had; she didn’t even notice it happening because she had gotten so used to it so quickly.

“I guess they are,” she said, a bit surprised herself. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen them stop for anyone else either.”

“Dude, they totally like you!” Mijoo exclaimed, her eyes twinkling as she leaned even closer, a dangerous smile on her lips. That smile usually meant that she was thinking up a wild plan that was doomed to go wrong, and the younger girl wasn’t sure she wanted to her about it.

“That seems like a really big jump, just because-.”

“Listen,” the other girl interrupted, waving away Yein’s worries. “You should at least get their name. Come on, they’re talking to you every day, it won’t be weird. Just make a joke about forgetting to introduce yourself and it’ll happen naturally.”

“That’s… actually not a terrible idea.”

“I’m offended that you think any of my ideas would be terrible, but I’ll let it slide because you’re cute.” Mijoo wiggled her eyebrows and bit at her straw as she leaned back in her chair, obviously pleased with herself. “Go get ‘em, tiger.”

“Never say that again, please.” Yein groaned, but she couldn’t help the small smile creeping across her face as she thought about finally learning your name.

-

The next day, Yein found herself up even earlier than usual. She was way too nervous to sleep in any longer, so after a moment of tossing and turning, she decided to go ahead and get up. As she fixed her hair and washed the remnants of sleep from under her eyes, she went over what she should say to you in her head.

Should she be forward? Or maybe let you start the conversation? She wasn’t sure, and that made her nervous, even though she’d never really been the shy type before.

“You can do this,” she told her reflection, hyping herself up with a little jump before she took a deep breath and headed for her front door, determined to at least learn your name if nothing else.

It was a beautiful morning with only a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze making the summer warmth much more bearable. For a moment, she stood still and closed her eyes, letting the sun warm her skin, before smiling and beginning to run, already feeling much better. As usual, she felt energized by her morning routine, and she felt her worries start to melt away as she focused on her breathing and the sounds of the birds in the trees around her.

It wasn’t long until she saw a familiar figure coming towards her on the sidewalk and she felt her heart jump as she slowed her pace a bit, preparing to stop for a quick chat like usual. Your smile was as bright as usual as you waved, slowing down until you’d stopped, taking a sip of your water as she approached.

“Good morning,” you said, “it’s beautiful out here today, isn’t it?”

“It really is,” she agreed, smiling back and hoping that you couldn’t tell how nervous she suddenly was. She wasn’t sweaty or anything, right? “I felt energized as soon as I stepped outside.”

“Same here! It helps that my neighbor was coming out to walk his dog at the same time. It was a great way to start my morning.” You put the top back onto your water bottle and she swallowed, knowing that the two of you would be parting again at any moment.

“By the way, I realized that I never introduced myself, even though we’ve been seeing each other, like, every day for a while.” She held out her hand. “I’m Yein. I live in the apartments at the end of the lane.”

You seemed to brighten up, quickly reaching forward to shake her hand as your smile widened. “I’m (Y/N), I live in the apartments near the main road. It’s nice to finally be able to put a name to a face.”

“Right?” She felt herself relax a bit, relieved that you seemed just as happy to finally know her name. She liked the sound of yours. “Now I don’t have to call you ‘morning run neighbor’ in my head anymore.”

“I’m flattered that you were thinking of me,” you said with a laugh, and she felt herself blush. Thankfully, you continued. “I referred to you as the pretty runner, so we were in the same boat.”

Whelp, now her face was even more red and she couldn’t stop smiling as she playfully tossed her hair over her shoulder. “Well thank you! I don’t mind that nickname at all.”

Your phone rang with a notification, interrupting the moment, and she watched as you grimaced at the screen, then looked up at her with an apologetic look.

“Sorry, it looks like I have to run, literally. They need me to come in to work early.”

She tried not to show her disappointment as she shook her head. “It’s okay! I hope you have a good day!” She turned away to continue jogging, trying to console herself that at least she got your name, but before she could get more than a step away, she heard your voice call out her name, sending a thrill through her body.

“Wait, Yein!” You stepped to her side once again, stopping her in her tracks. For a moment, you seemed to hesitate, before you flushed and held out your phone. “Um, why don’t you give me your number? It would be nice to be able to talk to you for longer than a few minutes. I’d like to get to know more about you.”

Her face hurt from smiling so wide as she accepted your phone, her heart pounding in her chest. Maybe buying Mijoo that coffee for her advice hadn’t been such a bad idea after all. She’d have to thank the other girl later.

“I’d love to get to know more about you too.”

Prompt: Hi! Can you do a red velvet reaction to their s/o deciding to sleep on the couch after an argument and the reader wakes up to find her sleeping on top of them? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense.

A/N: It makes sense but I wasn’t sure what to use as the title? Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! - Admin Kiwi

Irene: “I decided I wasn’t really that mad. So, I’m sorry.” The two of you wouldn’t fight often, mostly because Irene is very calm and clear about things and likes to talk everything out. So this fight would be unusual and would leave Irene unable to sleep, regretting getting so angry and wondering if you were cold out there on your own. Eventually, she’d get up to apologize, but when you wouldn’t wake up, she’d slide onto the couch with you inside, fitting her small body next to yours and immediately drifting off to sleep. When she woke up to your confused voice, asking her why she was out there, she would immediately apologize for arguing with you the day before, her honestly shining through her sleepy eyes.

Wendy: “I missed you. It was cold in the bed without you.” Wendy can sometimes get riled up, especially when she’s tired, so when the two of you began to argue after a long day, she wouldn’t have the patience and would snap at you, making you snap back that you were going to sleep on the couch. Later, after taking a shower to clear her head and climbing into bed, her steam would wear off and she would feel bad, wondering if you felt the same and trying to think of how long it had been since she slept alone. She wouldn’t be able to sleep without you, so she’d go find you instead, accidentally waking you up as she climbed onto the couch next you. Immediately, she’d apologize and ask you to come to the bed, shoulders sagging with relief when you apologized as well and agreed.

Seulgi: Honestly, Seulgi would hate fighting and would try to avoid it at all costs, but sometimes it happens. Upset after arguing, she would burst into tears and rush to the room as she told you not to follow her, immediately making you feel bad. Still, you wouldn’t want to upset her more, so you would decide to sleep on the couch that night to let her cool down. After having a good cry, Seulgi would feel bad as well, wiping at her face and just wanting to hug you and apologize. When she walked out to see you on the couch with just a thin blanket, she would start to cry again, immediately bringing you another blanket and cuddling up next to you, waking you up as she tearfully apologized, making you tear up as well. It’s very hard to stay upset with Seulgi, and you wouldn’t be able to stay upset after seeing how much she wanted to reconcile.

Joy: “I can’t believe you left me alone like that, I was so cold.” Although she doesn’t look like it, Joy can be very stubborn in the heat of the moment, especially when she feels like she’s being attacked. After this particular argument, she would tell you to go away and would slam the bedroom door, muttering angrily under her breath and stomping off to the shower to clear her head. After getting into bed and calming down, though, she would begin to miss you, even if she wouldn’t want to. Begrudgingly, she would go into the living room and would climb in next to you, although she would be very embarrassed the next morning when you woke up to find her next to you, exclaiming that it was cold all alone. Her face would flush when you asked if she missed you and she would say no, but would huff and invite you to make breakfast with her to make up for the fight, extending a branch of peace despite her stubbornness.

Yeri: “Whatever, I’m still upset with you!” Yeri is a pretty stubborn person, so when she was angry, she wouldn’t want to apologize first, even if the reason the two of you fought wasn’t serious. She would be the one to tell you not to bother her that night, huffing as she stormed to the bedroom, but she wouldn’t expect you to actually decide to sleep on the couch like that. To her own surprise, she wouldn’t be able to sleep without you there and would feel bad for making you sleep in the cold living room, so she would come out with a blanket and would end up shuffling in beside you, sleepy and just wanting comfort. The next morning, though, she would be embarrassed and would insist that you apologize first, even though you could tell that she wasn’t actually angry anymore. Still, you’d amuse her, because both of you would have cooled down after sleeping and would understand that the fight had honestly been stupid.

Prompt: may i request gwsn’s individual reactions to their s/o being shorter than them? would they find it cute, tease them, etc.? thank you! :)

A/N: Stan talent, stan GWSN. They should have been invited to Queendom, I would have loved to see them get some much-deserved attention. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! - Admin Kiwi

Seoryoung:“If I’m a fairy, then what does that make you?” Seoryoung is small herself, only 157 cm tall, so she wouldn’t be used to being the taller one in the relationship. Because of this, she would milk it for all it was worth, nicknaming you after various tiny cartoon characters and constantly proclaiming that she couldn’t help being tall, like the two of you didn’t both have stepstools everywhere because neither of you can reach anything. You’d get her back, though, constantly reminding her that she is, in fact, also tiny and so can say nothing about your height.

image

Miya:“It’s only a few inches, but I make it count, right?” Miya really isn’t that tall herself, so she would love being taller than you. It would make her feel really cool and she would milk it for all it was worth, constantly teasing you by leaning over you and putting her arm over your shoulder, winking as she flirted and teased you. However, she’s still a bit of a dork, so as soon as you flirted back, she would burst into laughter and step back, playfully complaining that shewas supposed to be the cool one. You would tease her back plenty about her height, too, but secretly you’d like it when she acted cool and used her height to make you feel small.

image

Seokyoung: “You’re going to have to get heels or something because I can’t reach the top shelf either.” Although she’s also pretty small, she wouldn’t really think anything about you being shorter than her, other than her original surprise that there are people shorter than her in the first place. The only times she would think about it would be when the two of you were trying to get something down, and then the two of you wouldn’t be able to stop laughing, trying all sorts of things to get to the top shelf and whining about being short together. She’d also occasionally remember when people asked who was taller, immediately standing up straighter and laughing as she raised her hand.

image

Anne: “Woah, I forgot how short you are.” Anne wouldn’t think about your height all that often, mostly because she’s used to being around the members who are shorter than her. It would only be when she turned around and had to look down at you or when you wouldn’t be able to reach something when she would remember. Then, in a deep, slightly playful tone, she would ask you when you got so short, enjoying your reaction with a slight smile before helping you get whatever you needed. She would also like the way you fit in her arms, although she wouldn’t admit that out loud.

image

Minju: “You know what? I kind of like being the taller one actually!” Minju is average height, so she wouldn’t really notice height as much as some other people. However, when the two of you first started going out, she found herself wondering if this was now Lena just saw the world and would become amused at the thought. After that, she would try out things that traditionally the “taller” partner would do, begging you to try it with her because she “just wants to see how it feels!” She wouldn’t really tease you, though, instead constantly telling you how cute she finds you to boost your ego.

image

Soso: “I don’t think you’re too short. I’m just tall, right?” She would be a bit insecure about her height when the two of you first started dating, actually. She would worry for a bit that you would think she was too tall, or that the two of you wouldn’t fit together well, but after a while those worries would go away, mostly because you would remind you all the time that you liked how tall she was. Instead, she’d begin to like the way you felt in her arms, and she would like hugging you from behind and being the big spoon. Soon, she would even sometimes playfully tease you for being short at the store with a sweet, loving tone to her voice, finally comfortable with your height difference.

image

Lena: “(Y/N)? Where did you go? I can’t see you anywhere!” She would tease you often about your height, looking over your head and pretending that she couldn’t see you as you huffed and waved your hands in front of her face, reminding her that she was just tall. She would love getting a reaction out of you, thinking that you were adorable whenever you had to stretch to get something or pouted when she reached over you to grab something. She would actually like being the taller one and would always stand a bit taller around you.

Prompt: How about Dreamcatcher’s reaction to their male s/o or GN s/o who’s a gamer and seeing him crying cause of cod zombies story ending?

A/N: As usual, the reader is gender neutral. ALSO DREAMCATCHER FIRST WIN!! Finally, our girls got the win they’ve deserved for so long! I’m so, so excited and happy for them so I just had to take some time out of my day to make a post for them. Everyone go support Maison! - Admin Kiwi

JiU: “So what happened? Tell me.” She would be surprised when she walked in to find you quietly crying while the ending credits played on the screen. At first, she would freeze in surprise before carefully walking over to check on you, making sure you were okay. Her eyes would be soft as she sat beside you and asked what was wrong, wrapping her arms around you and assuring you that she wanted to know what happened in the game. Even though you might be a bit embarrassed to be caught crying over your video game, she would make you feel better by listening to you with rapt attention, even though she wouldn’t understand much of what you were saying, just wanting to be there for you to rant.

image

SuA: “Awe, don’t cry! Come on, I’ll make you laugh.” When she first saw you crying, she would be scared that you were hurt or in pain, or that something bad had happened. Once she realized that you were crying over the game, she would be relieved that it wasn’t anything serious and would immediately jump into silly girlfriend mode, pretending to fight the game and huffing about how terrible the writers were for making her baby cry. She would succeed in making you laugh, distracting you from the sad ending with her antics and her bright smile as she hugged you and wiped your tears away.

image

Siyeon: “I hate it when games end sadly! It’s such a bummer!” Siyeon likes to play video games sometimes too, so she would really be able to empathize with you when she found you crying with the game credits rolling on screen. Even if you were a bit embarrassed at first, her eagerness to hear what happened would remind you that she would never judge you and you would end up ranting about the game to her as she listened closely, nodding along and agreeing with you. At the end, she would be tearing up too, shaking her head and declaring that these game developers were sadistic, making you finally laugh, feeling much better after talking about it.

image

Handong: “Ah, it was because of the game? I’m glad you’re not hurt.” Handong would be a bit confused at first, looking from you to the game and then back again, making you let out a watery laugh as you explained what was happening. Once she realized you weren’t hurt and nothing bad was happening, she would try to make you feel better even if she’s not the type to cry over a game, making you laugh again as she squinted at the screen and tried to understand exactly why you were crying, her puzzled face letting you know that she didn’t really get it but was trying her best for you.

image

Yoohyeon: “Don’t cry!” Yoohyeon also plays video games and she’s very emotional, so just seeing you crying would make her tear up. She would totally understand crying over the ending of the game and would actually end up crying with you as you talked about it, totally into the story. You would end up hugging her to cheer her up instead, laughing and asking why she was crying. “I’m crying because you’re crying and it’s sad!” Both of you would end up laughing and calling yourselves crybabies afterwards, wondering how both of you ended up crying over something only you were playing.

image

Dami: “Ah, that’s… sad?” Dami isn’t exactly the most… emotional person. She doesn’t cry very often and doesn’t get sad or emotional over things very easily, so every time you cry she would be very concerned and this time would be no exception. When you explained that you were crying over the end of a game, however, she wouldn’t be sure how to react. She wouldn’t want to hurt your feelings, but at the same time, she wouldn’t be able to relate, so she would just awkwardly pat you on the back to try and console you, which would end up making you laugh, amused to see her trying so hard even as confused as she was about the game.

image

Gahyeon: “The game made you cry? What happened in it?” Gahyeon would immediately rush over to you when she saw you crying, only realizing afterwards that the game credits were still playing on the screen in front of you. When you explained the situation to her, her shoulders would sag in relief and she would sit beside you, a small smile on her face, affectionately asking what she was going to do with you as she wiped away your tears and told you to tell her what happened in the game. You should expect some affectionate teasing afterwards, but she would tell you that it’s what you get for scaring her like that, and you would know she doesn’t mean anything by it.

Idol: Dahyun (Rocket Punch)

Prompt: Rocket punch’s Dahyun angst/fluffy scenario where her and the reader are like,, bsfs that are inseparable and the school makes up rumors that they are dating and turns out they do like each other but they were being stubborn and waiting for the other person to confess first? Lol sorry if that sounds confusing but thank you anyways

Writer: Admin Kiwi

A/N: Please support Rocket Punch’s song Chiquita! I love it so much, it’s so powerful! Also, Dahyun is my daughter and I love her. Anyways, sorry I’ve been MIA, I hope you all enjoy!

image

This was a nightmare. In fact, Dahyun was pretty sure she’d had this exact nightmare many, many times before. That was why she stayed silent, her feet rooted to the floor and her hand frozen on her locker door as Sohee spoke excitedly, bouncing around her.

“It’s so funny, Dahyun! Who would have thought that you and (Y/N) would be voted as the school’s best couple when the two of you aren’t even dating?” Sohee laughed as she pulled her books from her locker beside Dahyun’s and closed the door. “I heard that Wonyoung and Yujin are whining about losing to you guys. They totally thought they had this contest won!”

Dahyun took a deep breath, trying to settle the nerves shuddering in her chest. Her hands shook as she finally closed the locker door, forcing herself to speak. “How many people saw?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, how many people do you think saw the post?”

“Well, the school’s blog and newspaper are really popular, so I’m guessing a lot of people tuned in to see the results. After all, everyone has been voting for a week. They’re betting on the winners being crowned at prom.”

“Oh.” Dahyun felt her world rocking around her as she clutched her books. How could this happen? Who had started this rumor and how could it get this big?

“Dahyun? Are you okay?”

“L-let’s just go to class,” the younger girl responded, keeping her eyes downcast as her body burned with embarrassment and fear. What would you say when you heard the news? She didn’t even want to think about it.

How many years had she kept her feelings for you a secret? She thought she was doing well, pushing them down and promising herself to just be your friend. She was happy just being by your side and seeing you smile, so why did this have to happen? You were probably disgusted by the idea of dating her.

Negative thoughts swirled around her as she made her way towards class, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to overflow. How could she ever face you now?

-

Dahyun wished that she could shut everyone out, even if it was just for a day. No matter where she went, someone brought you up.

“Wow, are you guys finally dating?”

“Congrats for winning the contest! You guys are the cutest!”

She did her best to take everything in stride, giving them awkward smiles as she tried to clarify the situation, but no one would listen. It seemed like everyone really thought the two of you were dating, and no matter what she said, they would just accuse her of being shy or embarrassed.

Worst of all, she hadn’t seen you once all day.

Usually by now the two of you would have bumped into each other in the halls, or at least texted each other to talk about meeting up for lunch. But her phone was silent except for the multitude of texts from Yujin claiming that the two of you stole the best couple spot. She hadn’t tried to text you either, in all fairness. She just couldn’t bring herself to press send any time she typed out a message. All of her fears would explode, making her quickly erase the message and shove her phone into her pocket.

You probably hated her now. That was why you weren’t texting her.

When lunch finally rolled around, she found herself ducking into the bathroom to hide and catch her breath. Her chest hurt as she looked at her phone. The two of you had been eating lunch together every day for years now. It was strange not to head straight to your locker, but she couldn’t bring herself to leave. She was too scared to face you.

So instead she dialed her mom’s number with shaky fingers, putting on her best sick voice.

“Can you come pick me up? I’m not feeling well.”

-

You didn’t text her after lunch, but Sohee did.

S - Hey, where are you?

D - I went home, I wasn’t feeling well. Why?

S - (Y/N) was looking for you. They were worried because you didn’t come to lunch. What’s wrong?

D - What did you tell them?

S - That I hadn’t seen you since first period. Seriously, what’s wrong? Do you need me to get you something?

D - No. I’m just feeling sick. Sorry for not telling you.

S - It’s okay but you should text (Y/N). They looked really worried.

D - Okay, I will.

Of course, she was lying. She was too nervous to text you, so instead she fell onto her bed and pulled the covers over her head, shutting her eyes tight. Maybe when she woke up, all of this would just be a really bad dream.

-

Unfortunately, she wasn’t lucky enough for that to be the case, and there was no way her mom was going to let her skip another day of school. Begrudgingly, she pulled on a hoodie and kept her head down with her headphones on, hoping that her classmates would get the hint and not approach her. She wasn’t in the mood to deal with more questions, because she hadn’t been able to sleep the night before. All night, she’d stayed up tossing and turning, wondering what you were doing and what you were thinking.

She missed you. This was the first time that she’d gone so long without seeing or talking to you, and it felt like there was a hole in her chest: like she’d lost an important part of herself. But she was too much of a coward to reach out first, and she hated herself for it.

So once again, she spent the day ducking out of your line of sight and trying to avoid any mention of you. She pretended to be studying when people wanted to talk and spent as little time as possible at her locker, just in case you happened to be passing by. It was pathetic and she knew it, but she couldn’t help it.

Even Sohee had called her out on it. “Are you avoiding (Y/N)?”

“Uh,” Dahyun responded dumbly, looking up from her desk to face her best friend.

“Come on. I can tell that you haven’t talked to them, because you’re moping around like you just got dumped.”

“I didn’t-.”

“Yeah, yeah, I get it, but why are you avoiding them?”

“T-they haven’t texted me either,” she retorted weakly and Sohee sighed, crossing her arms.

“You kids and your first loves. You always make it so difficult.”

“You’re barely older than me.”

“But I’m old enough to know that this is dumb, and you should talk to them. Maybe they haven’t contacted you because they’re just as scared as you are, haven’t you thought about that?”

Dahyun swallowed. She hadn’t thought of that. But could that really be true? Could you really be just as nervous to face her as she was to face you? She couldn’t imagine it.

“You can’t avoid them forever, Dahyun.”

She couldn’t, and she knew it. But she wasn’t quite ready to face you. Not yet.

-

It was at lunch that her plan to avoid you came crashing down, because she exited class to find you waiting outside the door, clutching your bag nervously and looking for you with wide eyes. The moment she saw you, she thought about running away, but you caught her eye, and she knew she was trapped. You seemed to freeze in place before you swallowed and made your way over to her, a determined look on your face.

“We need to talk.” Your voice was softer than usual and Dahyun felt a pang in her chest as she nodded.

“Y-yeah, we do.”

She followed behind you as you led her away from your classmates and towards the place the two of you always hid during lunch: the big tree behind the school. On the way there, she felt like everyone was watching her, but she kept her eyes down, focused on the back of your shoes as she forced herself to move forward.

When you stopped, she felt her breath catch before she dared to look up at you.

To her surprise, you didn’t look angry. Instead, you looked almost… scared. The bags under your eyes looked just as bad as her own, and she felt hope jump up into her throat before she squashed it down, not wanting to get herself hurt. She couldn’t hope, not anymore.

“Are we still friends?” Your voice shook as you blurted it out, clenching and unclenching your fists.

“What?” Dahyun as too shocked to reply, her eyes widening.

You bit your lip and took a deep breath before repeating yourself. “Are we still friends? Y-you’ve been avoiding me ever since we were voted as the best couple, and now I don’t know what to think! Do you really hate the idea of dating me that much? I know it was surprising but I didn’t think you would just throw away years of friendship because you were uncomfortable!”

“Wait, wait,” she said, her heart pounding. “You were avoiding me! You haven’t been texting me at all, I thought you were weirded out by the idea of dating me!”

The two of you blinked at each other, suddenly realizing that both of you had misunderstood the situation. Tentatively, she dared to speak.

“S-so, you aren’t grossed out by the idea of dating me? You still want to be friends?”

You flushed, glancing at the ground. “Um, no, I don’t feel grossed out. I was just nervous because… well, because the idea made me kind of happy.”

Dahyun’s world turned upside down for a moment, and she felt lightheaded, like she might float off at any moment. Her mouth was suddenly dry and her heart threatened to beat right out of her chest as she gazed at you, hardly believing what she was hearing. “It made you happy?”

Somehow you got even redder, laughing nervously as you rubbed at the back of your neck. “Yeah, I guess so, I thought we would make a good couple. Not in a weird way! I’m sorry if you think that’s weird or-.”

A smile slowly spread across her face as relief washed through her and she interrupted you. “I don’t think it’s weird. I like you, (Y/N). That’s why I panicked. I thought you would hate the idea of dating me and it would make our friendship weird. I didn’t want to lose you over my feelings for you.”

“R-really?” You let out a sigh as your shoulders finally relaxed. “Oh my god, you have no idea how scared I was.”

“That’s my line!” She shot back. For a moment, the two of you just looked at each other, half in disbelief and half in relief. Then both of you burst into giggles. “I can’t believe we both freaked out about the same thing.”

“Do you think our friends think we’re ridiculous?”

“I know they do.” She couldn’t stop smiling as she giddily tucked her hair behind her ears, willing her face to stop flushing. “At least now we can tell Yujin that we won best couple fair and square.”

You raised your eyebrows, a teasing sparkle in your eyes, even if your smile looked more hopeful than mischievous. “Are you saying we’re a couple now?”

“If you’ll have me,” she responded, her heart stopping for a moment. Was this really happening? Thankfully, you laughed, stepping forward to grab her hands.

“Of course I’ll have you. I’ve liked you for a long time, Dahyun.”

All of the worries from the past couple of days drifted away as she felt herself falling into your eyes, squeezing your hands. Who would have guessed that this nightmare would turn into one of her wildest dreams? She knew her friends were going to tease her, but she couldn’t care less. All she cared about was you and your beautiful smile, finally all hers to love, and to love freely.

“I’ve liked you for a long time too, (Y/N).”

Prompt: Can i ask you a reaction where Twice where they spend all day training for an event and their love one surprice them at home with a comfy dinner

A/N: Soooo I had COVID. Thankfully it looks like my vaccine is keeping the worst away for now but since I have so much time at home right now, I figured I would try and write some things for you guys. I hope you all enjoy and stay safe out there! - Admin Kiwi

Jihyo: “Awe, this is so sweet.” Jihyo would be pretty drained after a long day of practicing for an upcoming event. As the leader, she felt it was her responsibility to make sure everything was perfect, even if that meant practicing harder and staying later to go over things with her managers and choreographers. By the time she stumbled in the door, she was starving and so tired she thought about laying down on the floor right there. She had been expecting to come home to a dark apartment, since she had stayed into the early hours of the morning, but instead she was greeted with your soft smile and gentle hands, and the wonderful smell of her favorite meal. For a moment, she thought she was dreaming as she let you help her out of her jacket, but when you guided her into the kitchen, chiding her for overworking herself, she realized this was all real. Her favorite meal was on the table, and as she sat down, you massaged her shoulders, asking how her day was. Instead of answering right away, she leaned back and gave you a tired, fond smile, suddenly so content with her life she wouldn’t change a thing. “I’m so glad I moved in with you.”

Nayeon: “Oh, this is just what I needed! You’re the best.” Work had been nonstop recently, and Nayeon was kind of over it. Sure, she loved being an idol, but after yet another day of endless training for an event she couldn’t even remember the name of, she found herself questioning her choice of career. When was the last time she’d eaten anything other than quick snacks between dances? She couldn’t really remember. Exhausted, she pressed her forehead against the car window and let the cool glass lull her into a fitful nap as she was finally driven home. When she woke up, she thanked the driver and stumbled her way up to her apartment, thinking of nothing more than her bed, but when she opened the door, she was surprised to hear the faint sound of music and find the smell of food wafting through the room. Suddenly curious, she kicked off her shoes and made her way to the kitchen, where she found you softly singing as you stirred a giant pot of soup on the stove. When you heard her walk in, you turned and smiled, walking over to wrap her in your arms and give her a kiss that she sank into. “Is that for me?” She asked hopefully, looking over at the stove, and you laughed, nodding. “For you. I made it with ingredients to give you strength for your event tomorrow. Here, sit down and I’ll feed you.” Fondness flowed over her, and she reached up to give you another kiss before you went to the stove. “God, I love you.” “I love you too, Nayeon.”

Jeongyeon: “All of this is for me? You didn’t have to….” Jeongyeon would spend the entire day just wanting to go home. For days, her schedule had been packed with one performance after another, and then the one day they didn’t have a performance was spent practicing for a big event that she couldn’t even remember the name of. After a blur of changed choreography and outfit checks, she finally found herself slowly unlocking her front door, her eyelids drooping from exhaustion. What time was it? She couldn’t remember as she stepped inside and kicked off her shoes with a yawn, not even noticing that the lights were still on until she heard you ask her how her day was from the kitchen. Blinking, she cleared her throat and responded that she was tired as she trudged further inside, only to freeze when she reached the kitchen. The light was warm, and you were placing a plate down onto the table as you looked up to smile at her. “What’s this?” “I thought you would need a meal after everything,” you responded, and she breathed in, appreciating the wonderful smell for the first time. There was a bouquet of flowers in a vase on the table with a little card that had her name written on it, and she blinked away sleepy tears, overwhelmed with affection. “I don’t deserve you,” she said, and you wrapped her in a tight hug, kissing her forehead. “Yes you do. Now let me serve you, you’ve had a long day and you deserve it.”

Sana: “Oh my god, you’re the best. I love you so much!” Sana usually has a pretty endless flow of energy, but it was finally running out as she went over the same choreography again and again, her eyes blurring as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. How long had she been in this practice room? She couldn’t really remember, especially since she was pretty sure she’d only gotten a few hours of sleep the night before. She was just thankful that her body remembered the moves on its own, because her mind was far away, daydreaming about her soft bed and a warm meal. When practice was finally over, she hardly registered anything going on around her, just happy to finally be able to get some rest. Maybe she would be able to get in some cuddles if you were still awake. She wasn’t expecting to come home to the lights on, though, and that snapped her out of her daze as she stepped inside, curiosity waking her up a bit. “(Y/N)?” “In here,” you called from the kitchen, and her stomach grumbled as she caught the smell of her favorite food. That put some speed into her step as she went to the kitchen, a smile spreading over her face. “Is that what I think it is?” She asked excitedly, and you laughed, nodding. Now her energy was back, and she skipped over to give you a tight hug. Just as she thought, being home was just what she needed to feel better.

Momo: “I’m going to eat everything.” Momo usually had no problem keeping up with the sheer amount of practices and performances the group had to do, but today she was feeling exhausted. She couldn’t remember the last time the group had gotten a break, and now preparation for a big event was keeping them in the practice room for much longer than she thought it would. Her muscles ached and no matter how many snacks she ate, she was still hungry. Was she overworking her body? She was pretty sure she was, but she had no choice. Somehow, she powered through the day, and after finally perfecting the choreography, she couldn’t wait to get home. She was planning on heating up one of the frozen meals she’d bought recently, but instead she was surprised to walk into the apartment and find it still alive and full of the smell of something delicious. Immediately, she kicked off her shoes and rushed into the kitchen, her mouth watering. You were standing by the table, arranging a huge amount of food, and her stomach grumbled, revealing her presence. You laughed as you looked up at her. “Hungry?” “Starving,” she answered truthfully, finding herself smiling as well as she walked over to the table. “Is this all for me?” “Well, some of it’s for me,” you said, leaning in to give her a sweet kiss. “But yes, it is. I figured you’d be hungry with all the practicing and exercising you’ve been doing.” She grinned, her worries from the day fading away and being replaced by overwhelming love. “You know me so well.”

Mina:“I really wasn’t expecting this. Thank you.” Practice was always exhausting for Mina, but today it felt worse than usual. There was so much to change about the choreography last minute to fit the stage, and they were doing a special performance of a song they’d never done before, so the pressure was almost overwhelming. It was nearing midnight when she finally got to stumble into the back of her managers car and almost immediately fall asleep for a short nap. The next thing she knew, her manager was shaking her awake, gently telling her that she was home. Groggily, she thanked him for his hard work and climbed out, yawning as she headed up the stairs to her apartment. To her surprise, she noticed a light on in the window. What were you doing up so late? As soon as she stepped inside, the smell of food answered her question, and she immediately felt her mouth start to water as you poked your head around the counter and greeted her. “Welcome home. I made your favorite since I knew you wouldn’t be able to each much today.” A smile made its way onto her lips as she slipped out of her shoes and coat and into your arms instead, resting her head on your shoulder. She was still tired, of course, but her heart felt full as you held her in your arms, gently stroking her hair. “Mina? Is everything okay?” “Yes. I’d like to stay like this for a little longer, though.”

Dahyun: “Wow, how did I get so lucky with you?” Dahyun sometimes felt like all she did was work. If she wasn’t practicing, she was promoting and performing. It had gotten to the point that she was pretty used to it, so an entire day of practice for an event didn’t come as a surprise to her. Instead, she just took a deep breath and put on a smile, even though she was still tired from their last rounds of promotion. This was her job, after all, so she did her best, repeating dance moves and lines until they were second nature. But by the time the managers finally told them it was time to go home after midnight, her smile was weak, and all she could think of was how early she would have to be up in the morning. Her body ached and her eyelids felt heavy, and she found herself drifting in and out of sleep in the passenger seat on the drive home. When was the last time she’d felt this exhausted? Finally, her manager told her she was home, and she groggily thanked them and made her way up to her apartment, still half asleep. She was shocked awake when she opened the door and was greeted with lights and the smell of food, though. Her eyes widened as she heard you call her name. “(Y/N)? What are you doing up?” She asked as she headed further inside to see you placing a plate on the table, a sweet smile on your face. “I thought you would be hungry after all that practice. Eat while I get a hot bath going for you,” you said as you finished setting up her plate and walked over to take her bag. Her eyes welled up with tears as she turned to you with a thankful smile. “You’re seriously the best. I love you so much.” You smiled back and gave her a quick kiss that sent a wave of affection through her. “And I love you too.”

Chaeyoung: “You! I’m going to do something great for you next time, just you wait!” If Chaeyoung was honest with herself, she’d been tired since the beginning of the week. It was festival season, and although she was thankful for all the love the group got, having to perform day after day at so many events was exhausting. And now, their one free day was being taken up by practice for yet another event, one bigger than all the others. She hadn’t caught the name (she’d been too tired to care) but she could tell it was important if they were doing special performances instead of just doing their usual songs. Thankfully, her body was moving on auto-pilot, because her mind was far away, daydreaming about her warm bed and food that didn’t come from a package. By the time she was walking up to her apartment, half-humming along to their latest song with heavy eyelids, she was so tired she didn’t notice that the lights were on. So when she stepped inside to see you walking towards her, she jumped in surprise. “(Y/N), why are you up?” You laughed, walking over to take her bag and give her a kiss. “Can I not wait up to see my girlfriend?” “But it’s so late,” she countered, and you just shrugged. “I don’t mind. Come on, aren’t you hungry? I made dinner, so you should eat.” It was then that she registered the smell of food and let you lead her into the kitchen, where a plate was already on the table for her. A smile came over her face and she turned to you, once again bright despite her exhaustion. “(Y/N)! You did all this for me?” “I thought you might need something to eat after such a long day.” She threw her arms around your shoulders and kissed you fiercely, until neither of you could breathe. “Just you wait,” she said breathlessly, a twinkle in her eye. “I’ll get you back for this.” You just grinned and kissed her on the nose. “I can’t wait.”

Tzuyu: “Hey. I love you.” Tzuyu isn’t someone who complains much. Instead, she keeps her head down and quietly does what she has to. But today she really felt like complaining. Her entire body hurt from how much they’d been practicing, she had barely slept, and the managers would not shut up about how important this event was, which felt strange to her considering it was just a college thing. But still, she didn’t complain, putting her head down and keeping her exhaustion to herself as she followed the changes in choreography. By the time it was over, she was grumpy and just wanted to go home, slipping away before anyone to catch her to go over anything else. Her warm bed was waiting, after all. She wasn’t expecting you to still be awake, so she paused in the doorway when she saw the lights were on and heard you call for her before closing the door behind her and wandering inside. Her eyes widened when she saw you standing in the kitchen, humming as you filled a bowl with food. “I figured you’d be hungry when you got home,” you said, turning your head to smile at her over your shoulder. “How was your day?” For a moment she felt overwhelmed with love and affection, all of the grumpiness and annoyance from the day slipping away as she took a deep breath. Then, instead of replying, she stated that she loved you. Since she didn’t say it often, you flushed and let out a flustered laugh, turning to face her. “What was that for?” With a soft smile, she shrugged, walking over to pull you into a tight hug. “Just felt right. What’s for dinner?”
