Last week we hiked together with my mother to Brockagh in Wicklow. It was a battle for the both of us, my mom having steel in her leg, me with my emphysema lungs. It was tough and at times I was thinking I am gonna die. But I didn’t. I did it. And the view up there is just breathtaking. What makes it even prettier is the struggle before you get up there. Like in life. You struggle but when you get something you wanted, it is even prettier because of the struggle and fight.

Here’s a short break from scheduled Easter posts to bring you some scenery pictures. These photos are from a walk I did around Glendalough, Ireland. The trail starts off in the woods, and gradually leads you upwards through the trees! However, the uphill hike was worth the effort. We were met with clear skies and beautiful views of the lake & valley below.

Unfortunately I cut a lot of the bottom of this panorama out, because it wasn’t straight enough thanks to me not bringing a tripod or at least paying enough attention to my panorama, haha. 

It is a view of the upper lake at Glendalough from the top of one of the wee mountains. It was so beautiful here. I would happily spend all my days there, haha.
