“Food” A very important aspect in African culture. Each region has its own favorite dish and it’s incredible how diverse the choices are.

Over the years, women have played a leading role with food production, either with the actual cultivation or the harvest phase, which sometimes can be more labour demanding than the former.
It’s always good to know the food we eat, where it comes from and how labour demanding production of that particular food is because that’s when we appreciate the monetary price attached.
There is an African sati that goes… “Even the best cooking pot will not produce food.” So, thank a farmer every chance you get.

Nigel Paul Farage is a British politician who was born Kent, England. He has been leader of the Brexit Party since 2019, and served as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for South East England from 1999 until the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU in 2020. Outside his political activities he is the host of a radio phone-in on the talk radio station LBC.

He co-chairs the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy, an is known as a prominent Eurosceptic in the UK since the early 1990s. He has been noted for his European Parliament speeches, and as a vocal critic of the Euro currency.

He was a founder member of UKIP, having left the Conservative Party in 1992 after the signing of the Maastricht Treaty, which furthered European integration and founded the European Union. He was elected MEP for South East England in the 1999 European Parliament election. He was re-elected in the 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 European Parliament elections.
