is it selection bias or does every grad student do some subset of hiking, climbing, baking, running, and fiber arts according to their website
other than climbing, all of these hobbies have a low financial barrier to entry so probably yes. i’ve gone through periods of being into running and baking… and knitting… and climbing……….
currently hobbies are lifting, skateboarding, and sitting on my apartment floor scrolling through tiktok
