I saw Aang airbending and I was sure it had to be derived from an actual martial art. Sure enough, the creators used martial arts that they thought best suited each element.
As a result I started doing Ba Gua drills/techniques to improve my Gracie Jiu Jitsu. It worked! Such a gentle yet powerful martial art.
In 2019, I animated our favorite CR goblin. I wanted to see if I made any progress animation-wise, so here is Nott the Brave, now with a more detailed design BECAUSE I CAN.
