I’ve always thought it’s charming how Pearl dances all the time, when walking, gesturing… even when she’s all alone. Seemingly just for the pleasure of it… dancing just for herself.
Also can we talk about the symbolism of how Zuko never learned how to shoot lightning, aka “The Cold-Blooded Fire” for himself while his abusive biological father and sister used it all the time to get their way? Or how about the fact that Iroh taught him how to redirect lightning, a skill that symbolizes not letting their abuse hurt him??
