Explore Art This Fall at LUCAD!

A good chunk of us here Fanarticans are based in Boston, and a good chunk of that good chunk have a connection to the Lesley University College of Art and Design (formerly the Art Institute of Boston). So we wanted to take a moment to let any high school students who are fans of Fanartica know that LUCAD is offering pre-college classes this fall, starting October 26.

Why are we shamelessly promoting this, you ask? Because Barbara Geoghegan and Greg Marathas are teaching classes this fall! Maybe you live with a sketchbook permanently attached to your hands. Perhaps you’ve always dreamed of creating your very own comic book story. Or maybe you want to take a look through at all the classes being offered this semester and join in the fun! Whatever the case may be, feel free to check out www.lesley.edu/pre-college for more information.

Fanartifans, ASSEMBLE!

A drunk doodle speaks a sober mind, and in this case, it says I want a Moonpie. Actually, my sober mind says the same thing. It’s nice to not feel conflicted. - Greg M.

Glob knows that we’ll probably get around to Calvin and Hobbes as a topic, but I’m not one for waiting. Plus, now I’ll get to do another one when that happens! WIN-FLIPPIN’-WIN! -Greg M.

Pen, Ink, Photoshop, and lots of cursing

Twilight was a tempest of fire and fury. They had tried to hide it from Helmsfyre. But men are brittle, and crack under talon.”
