The last time I drew Grimmjow was 12 years ago, it’s fun to compare! I’ve definitely learned since that you shouldn’t pour hot coffee in a mug without handle, but I’m hoping I learned some more ❤️

A lot can change in 10 years.
When I drew the original piece, I was just getting into anime, Bleach being my main anime interest at the time. I had no technique. No actual idea as to how to draw some things, like anatomy and detail.
I had a crappy tablet and no stylus or touch pen to help. It was all drawn by my literal fingers. The quality was awful. The colors and shading subpar.
But I made. I was proud of it.
So, here I am ten years later at 23, decided to give it another go.
Let’s just say I’ve learned much since then. And I’m still proud of myself and my achievements.
And to those who see this and think “I’ll never be this good.” Stop and think. It took me 10 years to get where I am. It’s time and dedication but also patience in yourself. You won’t get it the first time, but just keep trying over and over. Practice makes perfect.
You’ll get there. So go further beyond! Plus Ultra!
