OKAY, I JUST REALLY WANT TO BE ON THE FRIENDSHIP LEVEL OF LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA AND JONATHAN GROFF. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

So we finally got HBO today here in the Netherlands! And even though I’ve got both seasons and the movie of Looking on dvd (and have seen everything like 6 times), being able to watch it on a streaming service available to the whole country makes it such a different experience!

Hoping other people will also be enjoying this amazing show!

Also very excited to have the Normal Heart, In The Heights and the new Matrix movie available with the click of a button. No its just counting down the days for the Spring Awakening Reunion doc!

Jonathan was interviewed for Evan Ross Katz’s podcast ‘Shut up Evan’ as part of the Matrix Resurrections press junket, and the interview is now available on Spotify and other podcast links: Spotify link

Jonathan Groff is today’s guest on an all-new SHUT UP EVAN. Full disclosure: We taped this before his appearance as Dr. Paul David on AND JUST LIKE THAT otherwise I would have spent half the interview deep diving on Carrie Bradshaw’s almost facelift. We do, however, get into SPRING AWAKENING, spitting, LOOKING, Lea Michele, THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS and his embarrassment at having never seen BUFFY. Weirdest fact I learned: In addition to having no social media, he deletes all text messages after he sends them. We’ll find out why. Plus, our pals @bensplatt and @murray.bartlett are dropping in to ask some questions of their own.

Evan also posted as an Instagram story the card Jonathan sent to him in 2008 during Spring Awakening:

Yes, YES, YESSS!

Loveee this podcast! Finally some new and interesting questions! Also, he basically asked everything I would have wanted to ask, really enjoyed every minute of it!

Side note: also picturing Jonathan as a high school English teacher is a vision ✨

Ugh I will never stop loving this performance, or posting about it!
