On duty, Varian had injured his head and torn his suit in half . After seeing what happened, Rapunzel came to check his condition and help.

Adding Tokoyami to the guardian au! Decided to make his design much more simpler then Katsuki and Izuku, felt it was more fitting for him (he has wings hidden under his cape as well)

Tokoyami is the Guardian of Death but has slowly developed the nickname The Final Voice. His role is mainly to guide the spirit’s of the dead and protect the border between the living and dead. He also delivers last words to the living family/friends of the one who died, although it’s not part of his role.

Like Izuku he was shunned due to his darker type of role and link to the idea of death. BUT unlike Izuku he had a little friend, a crow he would feed whenever he saw it. It followed him till the day it died and became Dark Shadow.
It wasn’t till years later that he met Katsuki who was the first guardian that didn’t seem to mind his presence. in fact Katsuki encouraged him to be more active in his role (mostly cause Katsuki was getting so many complaints about haunted places and ghost, he just wanted the guardian to do his job).
As for Izuku, he hates him. Wherever the dragon goes, death must follow, and it was a job Tokoyami didn’t want. War to him is a death too soon and Izuku was only war. Hearing that Katsuki killed the dragon was joyful news to him (of course Izuku being dead was a lie). He does eventually meet Izuku in his human form and is completely unaware of his the dragon and guardian form (especially since he never knew Izuku’s name when he was in dragon form). They two end up getting a small friendship between each other after the human form meeting. I haven’t decided when or if he ever learns that Izuku was the dragon

This time with his outfit before he met Katsuki

So…I had a random au idea and now here it is.

Species info really quick…

They are another random species I thought of (I don’t know why I keep testing new species ideas on these two).
The species is called Guardians. They have a total of three forms; their normal (which is what I drew), a human disguise, and an animal form.
Still playing with ideas on what they do but I’m thinking that each guardian has a role they must do, like a job (some examples are the guardian of death would guide lost souls or the guardian of love who pretty much works like cupid).
Guardians will not die from old age! Normally they stop physically aging between 16-25. However they can die from unnatural causes like stab wounds or poisoning. If they die they can simply reform later (either in a couple of days or thousands of years). When that happens they reform as child or toddler and have to regrow again (their memory is wiped as well).
Treating a guardian’s wound is very different from a human. They simply sleep it off and regenerate while asleep. During the regeneration they must be in their normal form which leaves them a bit more vulnerable.

Now for the AU!

Katsuki has the role Guardian of Kingdoms. His role mainly is to protect and keep his kingdoms at peace. However he doesn’t really rule anything even though most humans want him too. Humans like to treat him like a king. Katsuki on the other hand finds humans annoying as they tend to get in the way of his work and does his best to avoid them.

Izuku has the role Guardian of Heroes BUT was cursed with another role, Guardian of War. Nobody knows him as Guardian of Heroes, instead everyone calls him Guardian of War. The cursed role tends to stand out more since it makes it where his presence alone can cause fights and chaos. Normally his visits to places with any humans can create wars. As much as he should avoid humans he gets quite lonely and finds himself going towards human cities/towns. It also doesn’t help that his true role requires human interaction.

Katsuki and Izuku do not get along (at least in the beginning). Izuku makes life hell for Katsuki since he keeps disrupting the peace Katsuki tries so hard to keep. The two fight a lot, mostly Katsuki trying to kill Izuku and Izuku just trying to survive. This kill or be killed relationship continues to go on for a while until Katsuki finally manages to take Izuku down. Up until this point Katsuki has only seen Izuku’s animal form and thought he was just a normal annoying dragon. When he finally took Izuku down was the moment he realized that he was a guardian as well and Katsuki couldn’t bring himself to kill another guardian.
