whats up everypony! upon the request of a friend i’m dracula daily-ing ‘the great gatsby’! unlike dracula, the great gatsby is not an epistolary with specific dates, so i’ll just divide it into chunks and email them out every few days.
some stopping points will be awkward, but the first page break in the great gatsby comes at 530 words and the second one comes at 4.9k words. so. you understand why i have to make executive decisions and cut it off somewhere.
i love this book. it’s my second favorite book of all time. it’s super gay, it’s beautifully symbolic, it’s compelling, and it is just so. very. analyzable. the events and characters are sort of a trainwreck and the way the story is wrought around that, mwah! chef’s kiss!
