I was in the mood for OkiChi lately. Autumn started so I am also in the mood for autumnal leaves. I love this pairing and how cheeky Okita always is towards her. Speaking of couples, this one has grown to my heart because they are not getting a absolute ultimate happy end. Even so I am always sad to think that Okita will pass away much sooner than Chizuru would, this pairing wouldn’t be as charming as is is if he was healed. I found out that the combination of Copics and coloured pencils are super vivd. My sky-blue is dead now tho xD Hope you like it!
I finally finished to draw Hirose!Okita and it was fun to do him! I have actually started this before School started on August 18th, but well… I had barely time for this kind of drawings. HOWEVER! Okita Souji is done and finished. Souji is one of my favourite characters and I kind of enjoy Hirose as Okita. I hope I did manage to capture his calm and soft expressions. That’s what I really like about Hirose as Souji. The hair was difficult as hell again ;w;
Oh yeah btw. I was utterly lazy and did not draw the pattern on his clothes in details… no more Hijikata Toshizou headaches ever again xDD
I did it *cough* I’m sorry. I like to do these kind of things, but I don’t really “can” them x’D So everyone who is facepalming right now… you are probably right, but argh I had that urge! And I’m happy it looks like a human ^w^ I can’t guarantee anyone that you won’t see someone else as my next victim tho. I don’t know if I will keep it or give it away.
Heisuke my sunshine and the sunshine of an actor, Ikeda Junya! When I watched Hakumyu fir the first time, I was amazed that they casted the characters so well. I really thought that Ikeda was Heisuke. I also love his smile so much that I found this photo very nice. However Junya!Heisuke was so far the most difficult, I don’t know why, it may be the hair that’s just so difficult. I had a lot of fun with a lot of cursing again :D

So this was made while I was waiting for the others in my study group. KazaChi drama now for everyone. Should I get this over to my computer and draw properly on my tablett?
I found out that I will definitively get this drawn digitally and just drown my soul in KazaChi.
I was thinking about this for a long time. I always wanted to try a picture where characters are bathing in an onsen, though that’s only possible during Autumn or Winter since it’s more typical to do that during the cold. On this picture I wanted Chizuru safe in Kazama’s arms and he might not often show many feelings, but when he can cherish time together with his wife, he’d change easily into a protective shield. I imagine that, if Kazama just has to find out how to handle women xD
I actually want to print this in A4 and just hang it into my room… *lol*

I was waiting to do this since late November! I asked on Tumblr which of the musical actors I should draw next and on Anon I got the suggestion to do Miyazaki!Shinpachi and here he is! Finally x’D I didn’t want to rush anything since exams were drawing closer and I had other things to do. Now was the time for him and this one is done with water colours and inktense. This means it’s an experiment and it… well it’s kind of okay, but I guess I have to do some more of this kind with water colours. However it was interesting to see how I could use water colours on portraits. And can we please agree that Miyazaki Shuuto is the most glorious Shinpachi on stage ever? ;w; I really learned to love Nagakura due to his acting. I never really bothered about Shinpachi in Hakuouki since he has in the original games a rather minor role. A nice guy, but a bit too funny for my taste xD The musicals often teach me to see different sites about a character.

I considered toting this prop sword with me as Chizuru is never seen without her kodachi, but it felt impractical and a bit too costumey for the meet. Also, the katana is way too big for me, let alone to pass for a kodachi. If anything, hopefully I captured those moments in the game where Chizuru pulls out her sword to defend herself…only to be saved in the nick of time by her love interest.

A while ago our twitter Bakumatsu squad discussed The Ezo Elections and we got an excellent idea about Otori: I believe that he, such a huge admirer of handkerchiefs Western culture, would totally make some western-like posters for his campaign. A poster with random English words and an obligatory ‘WANTED’ on it, because he didn’t quite get the context. I can imagine Hijikata talking to Enomoto after the elections, like ‘it’s not that i care about this republic thing and the elections and so on, but could it be that he got some more votes than me thanks to his stupid posters??’ Also, it’s funny to imagine possible reactions of the Meiji gouvernment if they got some of these pieces of electoral art.

Because the world needs more samurai content, I’ve made a Shinsengumi-related prompts list for November, which I am calling Shinsenvember! This would be for drabbles mostly, probably, but anything else: art, fic, rp etc. that came out of it would be great.
