Today is the second and last day of the celebration which means it’s Apollo’s day!
It’s really hard for me to put into words how much Apollo means to me. The emotions that stir within me whenever his name is mentioned are beyond any language but I’m sure many of you don’t need an explanation. You know those emotions just as well as I do because that’s what Apollo does to humanity. I’ve often said that humanity’s adoration for Apollo is proof of Apollo’s love for humanity. Polytheist or not, we feel something for Apollo. He stays cemented in our imagination, values, passions, innovations, and of course our hearts. Everything that makes us wonderfully and tragically human echoes back to Apollo. He belongs to us just as much as we belong to him. Perhaps that’s the real reason he remains unmarried?
