Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful weekend.

I’m going to do my best moving forward to just share art and keep this a quiet corner for people who need it right now.
Like a lot of people, I’ve been having a tough week mentally. I’m still sick (sinus infection upgrade!), missing cuddling with my husband and son, and feeling heartsick for all those losing their jobs and small businesses right now.
.
My dad has a greenhouse in PA and at least for now, greenhouses are allowed to remain open. I’m hoping that stays the case as he prepares to open for the season in a few weeks, as he’s been working tirelessly for MONTHS to get this year’s crop ready. It is so tough to be a small business, even _without_ a pandemic shutting everything down. There is so much overhead, so many expenses, that the average person cannot even guess at. Hoping that things ease up in the next few weeks, for him and for so many others. ❤️

I got January through June done in the series, then we moved. I have the rest planned, some are even drawn out, on stretched paper, ready to paint. I’m really hoping to get back to them this year, now that my studio is done and I have space to work! —I say done, it is such a disheveled mess right now as I move in. :0 —I’m excited to compile them into an actual calendar when they’re all done!

Also, since I’m shipping USPS, it’s best to expect delays. I can’t really believe as a rational adult that I’m having to justify my support of the mail system, but it really is the best option for me as a small business. As an 8-month-pregnant lady, with a toddler, in the middle of a pandemic, being able to have outgoing packages picked up for free when my mail is already being delivered is such a relief. >>In contrast, the last time I had to mail something via UPS, my shipping cost DOUBLED when I scheduled pickup because I couldn’t make it to the UPS store, even though that brown truck goes past my house every day…. (It’s okay, UPS, you’re still better than FedEx at _delivering_ packages.)
