ok but the reason why we should get a hot boy summer sequel is because the new matrix movie is coming out soon and I need to hear the boys talk about it….like im literally begging at this point…..
god im hoping so bad that the naddpod crew will do some sort of sequel to hot boy summer for their between-campaign break!!
because honestly that mini campaign is close to my favorite piece of media that naddpod has ever made, like something about that group of characters made me laugh with basically every line they said. I love their ridiculous drama and over-sensitivity, and their earnest attempts to be cool. This doesn’t happen a lot for me, but I honestly could not pick a favorite out of the characters!!
also Emily was such a good dm for the campaign? she created this tone and atmosphere that perfectly balanced the creepiness of the mission with the stupid antics of the boys. also the scene where Emily goes back to the origin story of all them meeting was surprisingly emotionally touching!!
I’m just kind of sad because it seems like they are maybe just doing this trinyvale two-shot in between campaigns, it sounds like they are starting up campaign 3 very soon after the holidays. and Im so excited for campaign 3! and I also love trinyvale! but something about hot boy summer was so special to me, and I really hope that they do a follow up sometime soon, because I miss that group so badly :’(
