Everything is Stupid but… aaaaaaaaaaaaa!

My Hoya callistophylla is blooming!

It is Tiny ™️ (1.25 inches maybe?) and smells vaguely of musty artificial lemon, but aaaaaaaaa!

She’s throwing a tiny tantrum (one leaf has unexplained spots and the growing tip of this stem dropped suddenly) but I think on the whole, she’s still doing great! Maybe I’ll be lucky enough that her second bloom will land on my birthday!

Time for a well earned leaf break, where I appreciate my plants doing plant things.

Hoya callistophylla (top) has doubled in size since my last post in November. Also she has two blooms incoming! Hope I can catch them opening, I’m super excited!

Alocasia baginda “silver dragon” has one-upped her last leaf in size. Three of the six leaves are a little raggedy, but I don’t mind, they’re still doing their job! I think the newest leaf will get a little larger still, as it’s not hardened off yet.

Lastly, Hoya “sunrise” finally got some stress color, on top of new growth and 3 peduncles I couldn’t get good photos of. Two of them look like they’ll start on blooms soon, I guess Hoyas still like me.
