Cody Westphal — It’s Hard Asking Out A Barista

Hi guys! Cody and Jason here.

You know, those two guys who made I Love Charts.
Don’t you miss 2013? Us too.

Anyway, we worked together on an album of Cody’s songs, which we’re both really proud of, called What Selling Out Is and Why It Feels Bad. It’s a fun, eclectic album, with really charming songs. There are big squealing guitars in some places and intimate acoustic tracks elsewhere, some humor and some heartbreak. We hope you check it out and enjoy it!

This is the first video and single from the album. it’s a song about baristas, and the extent to which it is difficult to ask them out.

Thank you, as always, for being the best internet friends. Sorry we aren’t around as much anymore. Hope you’re all well.
