Yes he is. And the amount of self hatred Nate exudes is unbelievable. I also think that’s part of the reason he hates his dad so much bc he knows the two of them have this in common and it doesn’t fit the image in Nate’s head of what a man should be. He was more worked up over talking about his friend having sex with Cassie than he was when he was having sex with Cassie.
