thinking abt Him (charley) again…….. charley starting to become more healthy alongside phoenix (and maya) moving forward through their grief and loss over time …. the shift from sad to happy memories and them getting passed down through generations….

Chris: Your dad asked for my help to find you. -he smiled watching the two, still feeling the power of his own grandson. - Although I think he found a good way to find you either way. 

He turned around, opening his hand, a small ball of light forming, it was a reapers beacon but it was one he could make visible for certain people, right now it was visible to River, as Chris knew he was heading this way. Flynn looked back at Emil, still worried that he had been hurt from all this. River saw the beacon and followed it, directing the phoenix down. Once he saw them he de-summered the familiar, landing on his feet as he rushed to Flynn, seeing the boy in Emil’s arms. He covered his mouth as he felt the overwhelming energy in the area, the changed grass telling him all he needed to know. The telltale sign that Flynn had overcharged. But how? Though Flynn was very powerful, he rarely used his powers!

Emil held onto Flynn as if for dear life. Far too overwhelmed to be able to answer to Flynn. Their body felt light and electric, and there was some pain within them. They knew they had taken too much energy, but they weren’t sure if they were adapting to it or not. In their mind, all that mattered right now was the warmth of Flynn, and how sweet their lips and mouth had felt. They almost wanted to kiss Flynn again. They flushed red, too out of it, to be aware Chris and River were also there.

River: Flynn! What happened? Are you alright?
