Remembering my time visiting Japan This portait is of Akira Fujimori was taken in his restaurant #Imaasa in the chic Ginza district of Tokyo. Imaasa is an exquisite sukiyaki restaurant in his family for generations. A version of this portrait appeared in my book #WeAreDandy published by @gestalten Mr. Fujimori wears a vintage kimono ensemble (the outermost haori jacket was his grandfather’s!) which I’m told is the most formal style, the equivalent to white tie and tails.
