We INFJs often grow up feeling like we never quite fit in. We’re just a little too different from the people around us, and we’re highly aware of it. Nevertheless, we have a strong desire to improve the world and the lives of the people around us. Likewise, INFJs are always looking out for other people — especially the ones we love. When someone we care about is hurting, we want to make things better for that person. Due to our Extroverted Feeling, we love supporting others emotionally, and even when we’re alone, we’re often thinking about people. Sometimes it can be hard for us to get the alone time we need because we don’t want to let anyone down. We know when you’re cautiously excited, mildly conflicted, or doubting yourself, because your body language speaks volumes to us. Sometimes we notice how you’re feeling before you consciously realize it yourself. But, paradoxically, we often don’t understand our own feelings right away. For some INFJs, their emotions feel like a completely separate thing, almost as if they belong to someone else entirely. INFJ communication may be perceived as intense by others, especially when we disagree on moral or strategic topics. We use declarative statements, fueled with our emotional ‘right and wrong’ judgment, and with the associated facial expressions and body language.

INFJ - Introverted intuition is sort of like a framework in the mind for understanding what exists. It sees everything from many different perspectives and constantly is bombarding the psyche with new information to consider. If an entirely new piece of information is perceived by the introverted intuitive, that person must refine their entire framework of reference.

A prepared INFJ can do anything!

The best INFJ way to deal with stress is to talk it out. Express it to get it out of your system and make decisions on how you are going to deal with things.

The INFJ has a “stick to it” attitude. They are not afraid of hard work, and will put forth a great deal of effort towards something that they believe in.

INFJs don’t take their personal relationships lightly. We don’t fake affection or friendships. We hold our love and loyalty in high regard, and we don’t want to give it to anyone who isn’t worth it.

Perfectionistic and idealistic, INFJs always strive for the best.
